Taming Entry; I hiked up the mountain, panting as the air was getting thinner. Re-adjusting my sack of supplies, I continued on, ready for anything. 'My names DragonGirl987, and as you can see, I'm a dragon tamer. Well, not exactly a tamer yet, but I will be! I've just mostly been sent to study dragons instead of train them...which is kinda unfair. I've mostly just studied, studied, studied, seeing more dragon species of berk then I care to count. Well, okay, maybe I do count them in this journal. That's why I'm writing in you right now. I'm going to take a break for a bit. I packed some fruit for myself, have you ever heard of an orange? They're my favorite type of fruit, and I'll need them for the journey up the mountain! Hiccup said that they're was some sort of rare species up here, and you know I have to see that. I just need a really, really quick snack break.' I finished my log\journal entry, although I would probably be writing in it again soon. I bit into my orange blissfully, enjoying the smell and everything it offered. I twitched my ear slightly, it sounded like something was..behind me? I jumped into action, standing on my feet. There was no telling what type of dangerous dragons were up here, so I'd have to be ready. I felt a chill down my spine, as if something had rushed passed me. Looking around wildly, I was starting to get nervous: what was going on?? I looked up at the sky, wondering if maybe, just maybe it would help me. I squinted, something didn't seem right about that cloud. It..almost seemed like the sky itself was..moving? But that can't be possible! Unless.. I thought to myself, trying to think. As the idea hit me of what it was, something slammed me in my stomach, forcing me back to a nearby wall. I shook my head, everything becoming blurry. Groaning, I looked for my orange, which seemed to have been slapped out of my hand. My eyes widened as a gush of wind hit me again, almost as if something had landed on the rock I was sitting next to recently. They widened even more so when, right in front of me, a ChangeWing appeared. I couldn't help but be awe-stricken for but a moment. This wasn't like any ChangeWing I had ever seen, It's scales were blue like the sky, and a patch of the scales like the earth itself. The wings, oh! How do I describe it! The power and strength that rippled through them was apparent: to call them white as snow would be an insult! It was as bright as the glaciers themselves! While I was staring at it, the dragon looked at me with a curious, and almost pitying face. I was so distracted, I didn't even notice at first that he was sniffing at something, an, "Orangy" something. When I snapped back to reality, I faced the horror of seeing It's nose right next to it! And it was one of my last ones, too! "Hey!" I exclaimed, making a mad rush for the orange. The ChangeWing anticipated, grabbing the fruit and flying into the air. As I looked up at it, my cross and annoyed face seized. It was even more beautiful in the sky then it was on the ground! Now how on earth can a dragon manage that?? I huffed, having mock annoyance at the dragon. I didn't know why, but It seemed like I just couldn't stay mad at it. "Well, what are you going to do now?" I asked, chuckling quietly. The dragon looked at me again, tilting it's head in slight confusion. "The orange!" I exclaimed, pointing at It's mouth where the fruit was. "Are you just going to make fun of me, or what?" I asked, putting one of my hands on my hips. The dragon smiled at me cutely, and worryingly, she smiled at me mischievously. The dragon spat the orange at me, right in the face. Sadly, some of it's saliva had gotten on it: which meant I had a acid orange. Right on my face. I started to wave my hands around madly, struggling to get it of before it burned me. Meanwhile, the ChangeWing was starting to laugh, enjoying my pain like any other dragon would. As soon as I got the orange off, I looked at it, a smile on my face. "So, you think spitting oranges at people is funny, huh?" I asked, grabbing something in my bag. The ChangeWing nodded, smiling. It's smile soon turned to a look of horror as I threw a non-acid filled orange at it. The dragon looked down at me crossly, seeing that I was laughing at him. Unexpectedly, the dragon full on tackled me, not taking into fact that he might break my ribs. I wrested along playfully with it, both of us laughing. Our joy seemed to be echoed across the canyons, bouncing off the mountains to project our playing far and wide. After it was done, I was crying because I was laughing so hard. "Hey," I said, wiping my eyes as I looked at the dragon. "Can I ask you a question?" I asked, still wiping my eyes for a bit longer. The ChangeWing nodded, smiling happily. "I'd really like you to be my friend." I started, thinking of the fact that I didn't have a dragon yet. "And, is it okay..if you can come live at my house? And..." I gulped, how would the dragon react to my next question? "Can I be your trainer?" I asked a bit quietly. The dragon looked at the sky, obviously thinking about what I had just said. I was very nervous, wondering how she would react. Eventually, the dragon looked at me, still smiling, and she-she..nodded. I smiled wildly, feeling a whole new happiness come over me. The ChangeWing seemed happy as well, jumping into the sky and doing loops in the air. "Cloud-Swift!" I shouted after it, the name seeming to just blurt out of my mouth. The ChangeWing, now named Cloud-Swift, smiled at me, seeming to approve of the name. "Huh," I said, smiling at it as well. "I guess that's your name now, huh?"
