Dovesplash was the only girl in a litter of four born to Whiteforest and Silverwing. As a kit she struggled to keep up with her brother Bonetooth (at the time Bonekit), who was rather ruthless in his games. He was strong but blood-hungry, even as a kit. She learned strength through his harsh teachings, although the same was not true for her other two brothers. As an apprentice she strived to be the best, and proved herself a good hunter and a clever fighter. Her brother Bone(paw), however, was stronger than her, and just as intelligent. Her brother Ginger(paw) was always a head-in-the-clouds kind of kit, and it was no surprise to any cat that her gentle sibling took on the role of medicine cat apprentice. Her third brother Lichenpaw seemed to drift away from her as they trained, until finally he ran away from the clan. He had succumbed to the soft life of a kittypet, where he took the new name Kingsley. He was content there, despite his sister and Bone(paw)'s disapproval. Dove(paw) used to visit him at times, despite her misgivings, until one day he was no longer there. The two-legs moved houses, and took her brother with them. She has never seen him since then. Her parents were still living and proud to watch her and her brothers receive their warrior names of Dovesplash, Bonetooth, and Gingerfoot. However, it was clear to Dovesplash that her brother's thirst for power grew with every day. She had to do something, eventually facing off with him when he nearly murdered a loner in cold blood. Despite his strength and cunning, she managed to defeat him with her wits and speed, using the training he had forced upon her against him. She drove him from the clan, and does not know where he may be now. Soon after Bonetooth vanished, her mother contracted greencough and died. Her father grieved for only a moon before a skirmish with a nearby clan took his life. Dovesplash is now alone with Gingerfoot, and she has vowed to protect her only remaining kin at all costs.

Dovesplash is extremely hostile, and is suspicious of just about every cat she meets, with the only exception of her gentle brother Gingerfoot. Dovesplash is a remarkable warrior, and is a highly respected member of the clan, even at her young age. Despite her initial barriers, if you get past her defenses you'll find that her ferocity stems from her intense desire to protect those she cares about. If you make your way into her heart, she would lay down her life in a heartbeat to ensure your safety.

Dovesplash has a little trouble with her hearing at times due to the genetics that come with being a blue-eyed white cat, but she is by no means deaf and will not hesitate to shred another cat if they make a jab at her hearing. She's especially prickly when she believes another cat was talking in a low tone that they believed she wouldn't be able to hear.
