How do they cope with being blind?:
They cope by using their friends to guide them around.
He used to have sight, and misses all the colors, so he will somtimes have his friends describe colors to him.

Clay really doesn't cope with being blind and instead just let's it shape who he is by being a grump most of the time. He's often accused of coping with being blind by being rude and cut off from most others.
