Happy 100 adopts! This isn't a super rare special adopt or anything because nothing like that was planned by anyone but i wanted to make something 100-themed anyway so! big ol bara centipede >:3c
The shadow is a ladybug (its hidden up in the right corner lol i ran out of room drawing)

To celebrate 100, you will have two options! You can choose both options or just do one of them, it doesn't matter to me.

Option One - Writing

Using a maximum of 100 words per section, write about the following topics:

Option Two - Art

All art made should be done using a canvas that is 100x100 pixels. Using up to 5 images, illustrate the topics listed above. I will judge mostly on expressiveness, but the overall quality of the art will be considered as well. You do not have to draw the art yourself.

doll's favorite hobby;
Real centipedes are light enough that they can walk on the surface of water, given the inherent tension between the molecules. Demarcus is small and long enough that he can achieve the same and as it stands his favorite hobby by far is venturing across the length of a still pond just to see what's on the other side. Keon will perch on his rump to avoid adding any extra weight and occasionally stretch a leg out to touch the water. Marcus likes the texture against his feet and the weightless sensation of it.

doll's backstory;
Marcus was given to a very odd child who dreamed one day of becoming an entomologist. Marcus was created specifically to give to her and she of course loved him very very dearly. Unfortunately she was sick and she died before she was ten, leaving Demarcus stuffed into the back of a cardboard box. Marcus wasn't altogether interested in remaining there and sparked by the love the little girl had felt for him ventured forth into the world. He remembers her fondly, and tells Keon stories of her some nights, in the gentle embrace of summer shadows.

Marcus is quiet, considerate, very well-mannered. He takes great care not to hurt anyone's feelings. He's easily startled and spooked, and is somewhat clutzy due to his many legs; frequently when something scares him he'll trip on his own feet and go sprawling. He's apologetic, trustworthy, empathetic. He reaches out to help anybody who needs it, no matter their attitude or looks. He is a very kind Doll and finds friends in many due to this. He is intimidated by larger Dolls or Dolls with sharp teeth and somehow has a friend that is both tall and toothy, Haydn.

doll's connection to shadow;
Demarcus absolutely adores Keon and it is the same the other way as well. They are great support to one another. Key encourages Marcus to get out of his shell and makes friends and Demarcus helps remind Keon why it's good to be kind to strangers. They have quite opposite personalities but somehow they rarely clash. Both see it like it's them against the world. When Demarcus has no one he still has Keon, and Keon knows that as well. They respect and adore one another and their friendship is incredibly resilient.

Despite Marcus' love for walking across the surface of water he is actually terrified of swimming. His legs simply weight him down when he sinks past the surface; they're too short to gain him traction, and he is terrified of drifting to lie on the bottom of some shallow pond somewhere to be trapped there forever. He is especially intolerant of dark water, though he has a soft spot for the serenity of a beach no matter the height of the tide. Keon loves flying and Demarcus loves to watch him move through the sky while reclining on his back.

Cooking. Vinaka likes nothing more then picking up a good cook book and trying out new recipes. Even if he has no need to eat, he likes making the meals regardless and seeing how different dishes are made. He likes referring to cooking as 'an adventure right in your own home'.
Kagen, however, enjoys drawing. Though her drawings are that of a child.
Backstory
Vinaka was originally owned by a bug-collector, he was a gift to the woman from her deceased husband. The woman being very old, gave Vinaka to her grandchildren who lost him the same day on receiving him.
And Kagen? No one really knows her story due to her forgetfulness and 'distant' state.
Personality
Vinaka is a listener who tries to support and help others. Apart from that he isn't the smartest and struggles with understanding other things. His lisp and natural stutter annoy him, especially when others point them out.
Kagen however is childish and not very aware of her surroundings, meaning she easily gets lost. Apart from this she is clingy.
Relationship
Some may say they have a bit of a 'romantic' relationship. But Vinaka will deny it and say he views Kagen as a child to him due to her childish tendencies.
