There are three main tasks you must complete in order to tame and care for your new crownie. If these tasks are not completed by December 1st, your crownie will be rehomed.

The task can either be drawn or written, and must be posted on your adopted crownie's page. Written tasks need to be a minimum of 250 words long, while drawn tasks must include color.

Everything must be done by you and cannot be ordered by someone else.


Task #1 - Introduction
Upon meeting your new crownie, its obvious they will need some time to adjust to being in your stables. Get to know them and their behaviors, and try to gain their trust the best you can.

Task #2 - General Care
Your crownie has been neglected as far as specialty care. They need a good feeding, washing, and trimming to improve their attitude. Scrub off the gunk and condition their coats, and dont forget to trim their hooves, teeth, and fins. As for dinner, a nice juicy steak sounds pretty good...or whatever you have lying around at the moment.

Task #3 - Breaking In The Saddle
These crownies have never been ridden or introduced to any kind of tack before. Show your new companion that its not so bad, and take them out for a good trail ride.

Fall was in full swing. Autumn, yellow and brown leaves fell from the trees,littering the ground, causing any sneaking up impossible. It was almost the perfect fall day. Sun was shining like a bright gem in the sky, causing the leaves to seem somewhat brighter as they fell, dancing in the soft breeze. The clouds slid across the sky like small, white snails, ocassionally sliding in front of the sun, darknening the ground for just a moment.

She was excited to see this stallion that she had heard so much about. She had heard of his aggression towards other CrownTails, and how he had attacked any he was pinned with. His sweet temperment around humans he truly trusted. His beautiful coat, with a gorgeous color that shone in the mid-day sun. She was excited to see him. To see Regulus.

She stood by the fence a few minutes later, watching the Crowntail gallop around, before he stopped to perk his ears, and watch her through shining eyes. He let out a small whinny, before he continued around the large paddock, his coat shining like it was wet, yet it wasn't. She smiled, leaning against the fence, watching the stallion. Regulus. She liked the name he had. Reach for the Stars. It was a name that seemed to match the stallion. She didn't know why, but it just seemed to fit.


She stayed there for a few more minutes, before she stood up straight, and took a step back, the stallion appearing right before her. She watched him as he perked his ears, flaring his nostrils, learning her scent. She smiled, still cautious. She lifted her hand slowly, and he took a deep breath, and then turned quickly, not allowing her to touch his nose or his forehead. She smiled, liking this stallion. His beauty. His curiosity. She liked this stallion. Regulus.
