What Is Their Favorite Pastime?:
Gabe's favorite pastime would have to be playing with the hose. He tends to take the hose when it's on, running around and spraying other horses, himself, animals, his handler, and especially the ground. Mud puddles are what you can always be sure to find when he's gotten a hold of the hose, and a dirty coat to. Gabe splashes and rolls in the puddles of mud giving him a game to play with endless amounts of dried mud on his coat just to get the water back out.

Playing with the hose seems to always end poorly for everyone that's not Gabe and unfortunately it seems that the old barn cat is the one that suffers from the cold stream that sprays from the hose. Of course Gabe doesn't walk away without a few scratches for is fun with water. Gabe often is kept well away from this favorite toy for many good reasons making sure the boy will not get caked in mud, anger the cat, or spook other horses.

He also does kind deeds while playing with the hose such as filling empty water bins with fresh, icy cold water, cleaning horses that don't want to be dirty, and keeping everyone cool in the hot summer days of where he lives. When winter comes around the hose has to be put away so he finds another water loving pass time, this time it's knocking water bins over and making an even bigger mess inside the stalls and angering many.
