Gemwing Felines Nursery

Welcome to the Gemwing Felines Nursery! Here you can breed your Gemwing Felines. Gemwing Feline kittens start with only a small, spherical gem before they grow up and have their gem form fully, except the times they are born without a gem, but these cases are extremely rare. Since their gem starts as a sphere, round gemstones are the most common inside a feline's orb when they grow up. Kittens take two months to grow to full size, which is impressive considering their long lifespans.

Nursery Rules/Info:

1. Do not complain if your breeding isn't done as fast as you'd like. If it's been two weeks and you think it's been forgotten, feel free to ask about it on this thread or PM me about it.
2. Similar to cats in real life, Gemwing Felines don't always mate for life, so feel free to breed your feline with different felines. Of course, if you want them to mate for life, feel free to have them do that.
3. Also similar to cats in real life, as well as almost any animal, the parents must be opposite genders to breed. Same-gender couples can adopt orphans [As well as other couples], which will occasionally pop up in the nursery, however.
4. Felines with Kitten Syndrome cannot breed.
5. Gemwing Felines can have only 3 litters total, and they need to wait a month [30 Days] before breeding again.
6. You mist wait two months before growing up your kittens.
7. Main thread rules apply.

Nursery Artist Rules:

1. You must use a random number generator to pick traits, as you can't pick the traits yourself.
2. You can only claim 3 breedings at a time.
3. Use hex codes from the parents to make the litters.
4. Say when you post the litter what gemstone each kitten got.

How Breeding Works [Mainly for Artists]:

If one parent has a rarer trait than the other:
- If right next to each other in rarity, the generator rolls a number from 1-3. If 1 or 2, the more common trait is used, while if 3 is rolled, the less common trait is used. [Ex: Rare and Very Rare]
- For each extra rarity in between, 1 is added to the generator, and only the highest number gives the rarer trait. [Ex: A Very Common and Very Rare would go from 1-6, and only 6 gives the very rare trait]
- If one parent has a miscellaneous trait and the other does not, the one with no trait is considered to have a Very Common trait for the generator.
In deciding whether there's one kitten or two from a breeding:
- For the sake of making life easier for people, a breeding between two user's felines always makes twins.
- If one person is breeding their felines, a random generator is used 1-2, 1 being 1 kitten, 2 being twins.
In deciding if a kitten has an empty orb:
- A generator is used from 1-100. If 100 appears, that kitten gets an empty orb! Otherwise, it gets the gemstone it would've received otherwise.
In deciding if a kitten has Kitten Syndrome:
- A generator is used from 1-20. If a 20 appears, the kitten has kitten syndrome.
In deciding the kitten's gender:
- If the genders haven't been specified, use a generator from 1-2 for each kitten. 1 is female, 2 is male.
Custom Lines cannot be passed on.
