About
Fair Run Rabbits is an organization that gives you the chance to adopt a rare breed of rabbit. The Coloradan Fairen, or Fae, is a specifically bred working rabbit made to withstand extremely cold temperatures. They have an extremely large body, averaging around 25-40lbs in weight and about 3-4ft in length. Much like other large breeds, Faes feature large eyes and an unusually fluffy tail. Their ears are short and thick, as are their paw pads. Able to run for long distances while also being extremely agile, they are commonly used for agility competitions. Faes make great pets for young children due to their advanced intelligence and dog-like attitudes, though many professional breeders can assure you they make fabulous companions for everyone.
This lop doe mix is pretty aggressive and standoffish, she hasn't been spayed yet and of course has hardly ever been handled, so when one of our volunteers went to open her cage she got a pretty sharp nip! This bunny is territorial and will need some time to adjust and relax, but hopefully she will become an incredible girl soon enough with some TLC.

SO! I adopted a rabbit last Saturday and have been utterly immersed with her. I've never had a rabbit or knew more than one person who had one, so yeah, I'm learning with my new baby xD She wasn't wanted by the woman who previously owned her because she's aggressive and pretty hard to handle but that's exactly the reason I wanted her tbh, I can learn with her on how to raise a very excitable 8 month old rabbit and maybe she can learn something too and we'll be close companions in the future.
But anyways this is my rescue babe, basically looks like my bun I have now and named after her.
