oceania was found nestled in between large limpet smothered boulders. seaweed dangling and draping itself over her back and flanks. the shore not so far away and so that's how she gained her name, however, the waves were merely lapping instead of crashing. the young mare was quite content resting in the damp sand, it offered some relief to the intense summer heat we had been experiencing. Looking over her body, she was in good condition. her main and tail containing such a beautiful combination of colours. pastel blue and yellow and when merged together her mane, tail and feathers resembled the sun shining upon the oceans silvery surface. giving me inspiration for her barn name, oceania. a unique name and not one i have seen commonly used, however, it is the name of a continent or a group of countries, consisting of australia, new zealand anda few others.
