Curse or Gift //Shasta sees it mostly as a gift, or as she would call it, a blessing. She
considers painting more of a spiritual thing, a way to connect with the
environment and express herself in a constructive way. When she paints,
she feels almost comforted by what she creates. Though they are not alive
and are just paint, she finds the idea of something moving calming. Even
when she is alone, she never truly feels lonely. Her paint is almost her sanity,
it keeps her going, and makes her feel like someone is there even when no one is.
Personality //Being from a family mostly of monks, Shasta was taught that she should be giving
and accepting of others, even at the cost of her own happiness. She does her best to fulfill
her families long lasting standards, even though she finds it hard at times. Shasta only struggles
with accepting others that have conflicting opinions with hers. She tries not to argue or debate
with others, but she ends up doing so because she firmly believes in what she thinks is right. If
someone shares an opposite opinion, she will do all she can to convenience others that her point
is the right one. She can, however, listen to reason. If someone makes a point and backs it up
with enough strong evidence, she will accept that she was wrong or that they do make the
stronger argument.
