This stallion is blind in his right eye and spooks very easily from that direction. He loves swimming, even in the shallowest puddle.

These guys usually range from 12.3Hh-14.2Hh (or .3 depending) and are strong little guys. They used to pull coal from mines, so they needed to have stamina of a quarter horse but power and accessibility- making them muscular and stout. Yeah, it's great, I like dark bases with pintaloosa! Is black chestnut like liver chestnut? So is it chestnut genes, but just extremely dark? I'm just wondering because I've never heard it called that before!

Yeah, it's just a term for a very very dark chestnut that sometimes is hard to tell apart from black, but still has the red hairs. This is one of my favorite examples of it, with the flaxen mane that is more red than yellow since it is so dark.
