Ahhh! I got her! I just can't believe I got her!Oh man! I was told I was just seconds before someone else! I am so so happy! I can tell just by the pictures the price was worth it! She will make some amazing foals in the future!

I stood outside next to Jester who was on the other side of the fence. I spoke to him telling him that I'm getting another Nera. He seemed to understand and started to get excited. He swished his tail side to side happily. I pet him while Lav, was out in the field alone as usual.

When the trailer pulled in, Jester whinnied happily and used his tail to push me towards it. He paced around excited to see what Nera was inside. The delivery women came out. She opened the trailer door and I stared in wonder and amazement at my new girl.

Jester, grew impatient and climbed over the fence to greet her. I went after him but I was no match for a huge Nera like him. Usually he would listen but he was so excited he didn't stop. My new girl stared and whinnied to him. He whinnied back , she seemed to like him.

I was able to put him in his stable where he paced in circles unhappily he was trying to see her and Lav could care less. When I came back out the trailer was gone. She must of got impatient and left... I looked around for my new girl and spotted her tied to a post. I smiled and walked over there carrying a plump salmon.

She saw me and was quiet, I saw she had been chewing at the post. A good fourth of it was gone! She sniffed at the salmon and ate it before I gave it to her. She whinnied and snorted happily juice, dripping from her mouth. I could tell she was going to be trouble! I unwrapped the lead that was around the post and put her in a stable away from Jester. I would make her stable next to him though if they got along.

I got another fresh salmon, I had stocked up when I heard she liked it best. I held it out for her to eat. She stared at me and ate a bite. Most of her attention on Jester. I lead her to the stall next to his and she seemed much happier, so did Jester. I decided to name her Silver Rain or "rain" for short.

She wouldn't let me pet her so I went to feed Jester. He acted normal begging to be pet and for scratches on his belly. Rain watched and started to call to him he called back. She waited until I came out and she seemed to be begging for salmon. I got a small piece and fed it to her. I then reached out to pet her, she hesitated at first but then let me. I could tell we had an instant bond from that moment on.

Everyday I grew closer to Rain. She was doing really good with Jester. I was so happy they got along! She loved to be pet now and was very protective of me. She would scare away snakes near my house (right next to the field) and even scare off Lav. They didn't get along too well.


Today I thought it would be a good day to try to get Rains saddle on. I brought her out of the feild
and into the grooming stables.As soon as I took out the saddle she perked up. She grabbed it with her hand pulling the box forward. She sniffed it and studied it. She had seen Jester and me ridding together and she always seemed to want to have one too.

I stepped forward and tried to grab the saddle. Yet she used her tail to shoo me away. I watched her as she picked it up slightly with her tail and slipped it on her head. I came over to try to help but she used her tail to corner me into the wall. It wasn't in a aggressive way. She just wanted to do it her self.

She was able to tighten one strap, but other than that, it was all loose. She got her hand stuck in the stirrup and then got really frustrated. she tossed her head side to side angrily growling. I pushed her tail to the side and walked up to her I undid the strap and pulled it off her head. She calmed down and this time let me put it on her. I placed it on her carefully and tightened the straps.

She loved it! She turned to look at it and she tossed her head up in excitement. Her tail swished side to side just as a dogs would when there happy. She wrapped her tail around me and squeezed lightly as if she were hugging me. I came up and gave her a hug happily. I couldn't wait until our first ride.

The next day I jumped out of bed and put on my helmet and ridding pants. Rain was so excited about her new saddle she wouldn't let me take it off. I tried multiple times even real late at night. She has was so proud of it! It really made me happy to watch! I was absolutely love with her!


She was so happy to see me after I rode Lav. She wrapped her tail around me and put me on the saddle. I tried to get off and she stopped me. Looks like we would do our ride like this... I didn't know what to hold onto though, and I couldn't stear... She watched me carefully and grabbed my hand with her tail as if she was telling me that she would keep me safe. I just held her neck and I did not let go. She started to trot across the field.

The bright mare whinnied happily and went to a canter. I held on tightly and she continued to canter. She soon stoped and looked back to check on me. She then nudged me and snorted. I gave her a hug and got off. She nuzzled me as I have her another hug. I knew we were going to be best friends forever.
