I'll call him Zachary! He is just lovely!

It was a sunny day out so I had to gather fan, and open the doors of the stable. I hurried to ZeKorra and Roshan,
to see if their foal had been born yet. I had a towel ready to help dry the foal, and long gloves ready to help deliver if anything
was to go wrong.

An hour passed, and I was hungry so I went to the house to grab a snack. I brought back some of Roshan's and ZeKorra's favorite
treats along as I return. ZeKorra was in the stand ready to give birth. I watched, and only within minutes the foal was born and standing. It was a colt, the first colt Korra has ever had. I gave Roshan and ZeKorra their snacks as moved into the stall
to great this great colt.

"Let's call you Zachary" I said as I dried him down.

Zachary had finally grown to 2 years, he has ventured on many trail rides and visits to the park and even to a school a few times with ZeKorra and I to greet the children. He has an idea of some training, and understands what
signals are to go and stop just with a sound, not tugging and pulling to stop or kicking to go.

I already gathers everything and placed it in the round pen. So I went to Zack's stall to collect him, and lead him to the round pen. I
I tied him inside, and shut the gate. I then took the saddle and pad together knowing he'll be easier to saddle. I swung it onto his back and fastened it tight. I then removed the halter from his head and slipped on the bridle. He did seem rather shocked at a cold bar in his mouth and almost reared up above me, but with a simple correction he settled, and I gave him a chicken leg.

I moved Zachary to the middle of the round pen, and slipped my foot into the stirrup, and added weight into that side of the saddle. I pulled myself up patting the other side and moved the stirrup. He turned his head to look and licked my hand. I then dismounted, and repeated on the other side. I did this on both sides 2 more times, then finally pulled myself to sit in the saddle.

I sat for a bit, then moved to get him used to the feel, then signaled him to a walk. He started to get a bit jumpy, but then settled within a couple minutes.

I practiced around the pen for 15 minutes walks and trots, and turning him. Felt he was doing well enough and deserved a break. So I dismounted and returned him to the pasture after removing his tack.
