Day 1

I approach Boone where he sleeps in his tank. Not wanting to scare him, I call his name gently. He doesn't awaken, so I call his name slightly louder. He wakes with a start, and a frightens yip. "Shh" I reassure him. "You're gonna be ok." Slightly more relaxed now, Boone swims up to the side of his tank, looking at me curiously. "Want a treat? I reach into my bag, and pull out a special treat. I walk up to the side of his tank, and give the treat to him. He accepts it eagerly, making quick work of the treat. I smile and sit back.
