On The Chart
Indominus Rex (Black) - -
Indominus Rex (White) - -
Zhuchengtyrannus (B&W) - -
Zhuchengtyrannus (Blue) - -

PICTURE of the rex not a GIF
This group has SKELETON markings! yays!
Because Indominus isnt even a real species, they are VERY VERY RARE. and EXTREMELY RARE dinosaurs have A LOT of requirement in order to adopt. Once u own 1 Indominus Rex you cant own any more.(this might change in the future) Choose very wisely.
The answer to the Hatchlings/Chicks depends on how many they created in the Movie Jurassic World.

Username:
Gringo

Name:
Rex and Trickster
Rex was the nickname given to her by Park staff, it's something to humans refer to her as when not saying her full species' name. Not very original or personal, but it gets the point across when someone says to "Go feed Rex".
As for Trickster, that was the name she gave herself. Out of all the words she heard the park staff call out to their large crowd of an audience, Trickster was at the top of the list of words she could remember, and chose that to call herself. Although she doesn't communicate with many other dinosaurs, her Velociraptor genes make her a somewhat social dinosaur, so she gets by with talking to herself, and having a name made for an easier job doing just that.

Which one:
Indominus Rex (Black)

Gender:
Female, like every other dinosaur in the series... At least before their borrowed genes kick in.

Personality:
Manipulative, Bold, Impulsive, and Stubborn. Similarly to the Indominus Rex in the movie, she's a very loud and aggressive dinosaur. Trickster is quite a cause-for-conflict within her niche; she'd much rather stomp and bite down something that bothered her even the slightest bit, than put up with it or even walk away from it. Alongside this, one of her favorite past-times is to roar as loud as she can, to let others know she's the boss, and not to mess with her.
If she could speak her mind in English as clearly as we could, something she might commonly say would be: "Why should something annoying live when it could be food?"

Will you keep them active to the threads?
As active as I possibly can! I'm not super big in participating in threads, but if I have a job or a character involved, I'm more than willing to put my hours in, and even do a bit of overtime. If I do however become less active than you'd prefer with the Indominus, I'm fine with getting a reminder through thread or PM to do so!

How many hatchlings/chicks can they have?:
None. There's many, many reasons why the Indominus Rex couldn't have offspring. Along this list are some more obvious reasons: Not being able to co-habitate with other dinosaurs, having multiples gene sources cause for infertility, and the risk of her eating any eggs that may exist.

Why do you want an Indominus?:
I've always had a bit of an affection for the larger theropod dinosaurs, and while I wasn't initially super excited upon hearing of Indominus Rex in the movie, once watching it I took into account my love for dinosaurs with big personalities to match their size. However to answer the question, I want an Indominus because I'd like to own a character that possesses more negatively-associated traits, while still having enough popularity to not be hated by everyone who sees them. Alongside this, the markings you created for this darker Indominus really captured my eye. While I do enjoy lighter dinosaurs because of the color transition between lights and pinks from their blood, darker characters seem to have a bit more mystery behind them, and when you combine markings that look natural, with mystery and dinosaurs, you make the perfect recipe for an interesting Indominus, something I'd really like to possess!

Pic of Indominus from Jurassic World:
Image
A bit more of a common picture to see of the original Indominus, but I personally really enjoy this picture because it not only shows how wide she could open her jaws to crush what she needed to, but it shows the stance she most commonly held, even when running. The open mouth and hands close to the height of where her prey stood was her way of saying she was ready to kill, and was something you didn't really see with the other dinosaurs.

2 paragraph story:
For the sake of this post already getting long, here's the google doc with the story, feel free to PM me if you can't access it properly.

*Spoilers for Jurassic World ahead*

Username: BlueRocketMouse

Name: Igneous (Named for the fiery red of his eyes and the way his markings look like charred bones)

Which one: Black

Gender: Male

Personality:
Clever. Cunning. Ruthless. These are words often used to describe the Indominus Rex. They are also words that can be used to describe Igneous. He holds not only brute strength but a calculating intellect; strip him of his teeth and he'd still be just as dangerous. Life is pitifully easy and repetitive when there is no one who can threaten you, so stimulation comes from turning the mundanities into a sick game where the only winners are those who can run fast enough to stay out of his sight. A creature of greed, Igneous is constantly hungry for power and will never settle for anything less than what he wants. Second place isn't good enough for him. He'll do whatever it takes to dominate the food chain. Unfortunately, that often means showing no mercy. Your best hope for survival is to hide and hope he never notices your existence.

Will you keep them active to the threads?
As much as I'd like to answer yes to this, I can't seem to find any sort of fanclub or RP threads on the main post! Obviously I can't keep him active in any threads if I don't know about them (though if someone wouldn't mind pointing me to them, I'd definitely take a look). I can, however, keep Igneous active through my own personal use by making additional art and stories of him. I'm actually quite excited about the concept I have for him, so I have plenty of incentive to develop him further.

How many hatchlings/chicks can they have?:
The answer to this, I'm assuming, is two. Claire tells us that in addition to the Indominus we see in the film, there had also been a sibling in case the original I-rex didn't make it to adulthood. Of course, said sibling never made it to adulthood on account of being eaten by her sister, but there were still two created so I'm going to say that Indominus can have two chicks.

Why do you want an Indominus?:
His species being an Indominus wasn't the reason I wanted him, at least not initially. In fact, it actually made more tentative about applying because of the rule that you can only own one Indominus. What really drew me about him was his design. I usually stay away from red and black color schemes because of how common they are for but somehow it just works on this guy (the brownish tint, while faint, also makes it much more pleasing to the eyes, at least in my opinion). Not to mention those skeletal markings are absolutely to die for. While brainstorming ideas I could use if I did apply, I fell completely in love with this one in particular. I felt like it fit really well with the species traits of Indominus without making him a carbon copy of the one in the movie. I thought about it and decided I just had to try to make Igneous my one Indominus.

pic of Indominus from Jurassic World:
Image
Indominus may be quite subtle in the picture, but this had to be one of the most suspenseful scenes from the movie. It's also my personal favorite. Seeing the Indominus' reflection in the gyrosphere and hearing Gray whisper "five" made my stomach drop even during the second time I watched it. You can see the fear slowly creep up on not just the boys, but also in the face of the Ankylosaurus. Despite having already racked up a death toll by that point in the movie, this was the part that really made me fear what the Indominus could do.

2 paragraph story:
Though neither neither rain nor lightning were anywhere in sight, a thunderous rumble shook the ground to its very core. Igneous smirked at the rapid footsteps of a raptor darting deeper into the jungle. Nobody could mistake the sound of his roar. It was often the only warning they had in the split second before his jaws snapped shut. With one last snigger, Igneous continued the trek back to his territory ("territory", of course, being a relative term; the whole island could have been rightfully called his territory). It always brought him great satisfaction to hear the rustle of foilage or bending of trees as lesser creatures scrambled to move out of his way. Though now was perhaps the least hazardous time to approach him, while his arms and mind were occupied, there was no such thing as a safe moment around Igneous. Those that believed otherwise ended up like the cargo he carried.

Gradually, the volume of tiny noises diminished, then ceased altogether. Anyone in their right mind would know better than to be caught near the rocky alcove that served as his den. Once he had stepped inside, Igneous finally relieved his claws of their load. It was a Tyrannosaurus skull, the bone picked nearly clean. Time would take care of the pieces that remained. It wasn't the first T-Rex he had ever killed, but it was by far the largest. He set it down next to the wall, along which stretched a row of even more skulls. Triceratops, Pteranadon, Velociraptor, even a heavily fractured human and young Mosasaurus were among the line up. If the way others fled at the mere quake of his feet was not proof of his supremacy, then this physical record surely was.

Name:
Svartur = Black in Icelandic

Which one:
Black and white one. Bottom left.

Gender:
Male.

Personality:
Svartur... Quite the sight to behold. He's a natural, instinctive killer; something one would expect with his kind. He is willing to do what it takes to make sure nothing stands in his path, seemingly endless energy impulsive and brutish. Willing to fight for almost anything, Svartur isn't one to lose and acts as if killing was a hobby. He knows he's more than capable of handling himself and likes to be viewed as an indestructible nightmare to those that loath him even though thy most likely wouldn't make it through another day. The instinct to tackle any obstacle that overcome the dinosaur is gradually increasing with his ego. He takes what he pleases and doesn't need to think about any consequences; not afraid of a fight because he knows how most of them end. What Indominus' exist are extremely dangerous, Svartur isn't your exception.

Will you keep them active to the threads?
If I can, yes. I will do my best to participate in the threads when I am online and will constantly check on updates of sorts when I have spare time on my hands. Though at times it's possible for me to lose my muse but that's only a short phase and nothing serious. If I ever leave for a long period of time, there's bound to be a reason behind it.

How many hatchlings/chicks can they have?:
Well, considering the fact an Indominus is a hybrid and mutated amongst more than just dinosaurs, the fact that an egg could possibly exist is shocking. An egg would most likely be very difficult to come across considering Indominus's are prone to being territorial, nevertheless having the destructive nature to kill anything in their path. Thus, it is possible an Indominus would be willing to kill and possibly eat their own eggs. I think hatchlings would be rare as many would die before they even leave the shell. If they were to survive to see the world, I could see them dying within a few hours. It's not impossible but highly uncommon. I would say more than just extremely rare. Answering the question, one if you're lucky.

Why do you want an Indominus?:
I very recently watched Jurassic World after once being in love with Jurassic Park, must have watched the battling scene of the Tyrannosaurus Rex and the Indominus Rex more times than I can actually count. Since the time Jurassic Park came out, I have dearly loves the T-Rex due to it's ambitious, instinctive nature and abilities; always wondering if something could really beat said dinosaur in a face-to-face confrontation. It's natural that a T-Rex isn't invincible and can't handle everything thrown their way but I truly admired both their mental and physical strength. Then along came the Indominus... You see, usually I dislike when older movies create a newer sequel but this was a true exception. Once the ferocious Indominus was introduced I was hooked. Now, what better way to get into these adorable adoptions than actually get the chance to adopt an Indominus Rex? It would be my very first dinosaur and surely one I would cherish deeply if I was given the chance. I actually have a few dinosaur sketches and if I am lucky, may have the chance to add Svartur to my collage of CS adopts. If someone else gets the Indominus, I hope they treat it well; it's so gorgeous. So kudos to you, dragons whisper for catching my attention. c:

Pic of Indominus from Jurassic World:

I really enjoy this photo because this was one of the most eye-capturing scene in the movie, leaving you to think what exactly would have happened if the Indominus were to win.

2 paragraph story:
Darkness, that's all that welcomed the large dinosaur for days as he restlessly wandered a few steps from his originated spot. How he got there was beyond the intelligent predator. It was empty of any known life, a cold cemented floor and even thicker concrete walls surrounded him in some sort of death trap. It made him feel claustrophobic, more eager to scratch at the walls in dull hopes of a new possible escape route. Suddenly, a strange screeching noise echoed from behind the Indominus, causing him to bellow back in disliking. The ringing in his ears and the suffocating darkness ended as a wall opened, revealing dense vegetation. Immediately the carnivore accepted the light and charged through only to figure out a second later he was now in a bigger dome and opened his large mouth in anger, saliva lacing his maw. His beady eyes turned to an emotion of pure savage as he charged at the group of people cheering above him, giving them a noise they've never heard and blowing them back onto the ground as they covered their ears helplessly. His unusual markings and specifically the white colouration was in hopes of tourists to take more interest in the dangerous dinosaur, yet nobody came close to get a good look due to his ferocious temper that the workers had no chance of consoling. Svartur wanted out, and he wanted out now. It wasn't right to toy with a dinosaurs emotions by placing prey right out of their reach, right? That's what he wanted them to believe. As far as the Indominus knew, he was alone with no sight of anything but greens edible for him. Man was he hungry. Waiting patiently, Svartur calmed down and awaited for the presence of his prey. He could already smell them. To his luck, a large amount of foolish humans came to see the killer, standing above him on metal bridges believing they were safe from the determined jaws of Svartur. Though he still waited, he wanted them to get to the middle so chances of escaping his plan would be very few. Soon enough his devious plan was in action and Svartur jumped, grappling himself onto the bridge only to find out it couldn't bare his weight and snapped under pressure of his large teeth. People started screaming in horror, starting to run to the other end only to slide back and into his cage. Svartur screeched in pleasure, staring at the mass of terrified tourists. They couldn't run even if they decided to.

Before he could sink his teeth into the flesh of a man, a screech erupted from beside him and an exceeding amount of weight knocked him to the ground. The beast barely had time to regain himself as teeth sank into him, causing him to rage and bite back at the animal that dare stop him from eating his meal and enter his self-proclaimed territory. It was a Vastatosaurus Rex, large and wanting this fight just as much as Svartur planned to kill him. Getting to his feet, he raised his talons and charged; knocking the large carnivore to the ground. Blood was spilled between the two and the battle seemed almost never-ending but before Svartur knew it; the Vastatosaurus heaved it's last breath. Pumped with raw adrenalines, a victory screech pierced the tension filled air. It didn't last long once he realized the workers bought that time to rescue his food. Maybe next time.
(Sorry if this is too long. xD)

Art portraying to your story (can be ordered from someone else):
Asked a guy named Greg if he could help me out. He made me a Vastatosaurus though this is the smaller image. c: Work goes to him.

Postby Teeze » Wed Jul 08, 2015 10:20 am

Username: Teeze
Name: Rory
Which one: The white Indominus
Gender: Male (to be different from the movie)
Personality: For a ferocious, stealth predator Rory is a rather noisy fellow and it isn't hard to tell where he is. He was named after his loud and distinctive roar, but he is always making some noise or another usually more often chirping and chattering to himself or any raptors around. He is distracted and scatterbrained with a very short attention span. He actually has a hard time hunting due to his ADD since he will be in the middle of chasing down his pray when another dino starts running and then he feels the need to chase that one instead and this will continue until he finally tires and has to give up. He is really only able to focus on the target when he is hungry so even though he hunts often he makes few kills. He rather likes shiny objects as well so all the people who travel through his territory make sure to carry something large and metallic that they can drop on the ground so he stops chasing them long enough for them to get away. All this can almost make him seem like a "harmless" dinosaur but it wouldn't be wise to let your guard down just in case he is ready for a meal.
Will you keep them active to the threads? Probably not real active. I tried to get into roleplaying and I would still like to so maybe later on but at this point in time it is hard to stay active and I would rather not have people getting discouraged while they wait on me to post. I am planing on drawing and writing stories about any dinosaurs I get though and I will be posting those on their pages. I am really having fun with his personality and I would love to build on that in the future.
How many hatchlings/chicks can they have?: Well, InGen created two eggs to begin with so I would have to say that they can have 2.
Why do you want an Indominus?: Although Indominus is not my favorite dinosaur she did make for a very exciting "villain" in the movie and her overall concept is very intriguing. Not to mention she has a lovely build.
I would like the opportunity to own a rarer dino and this one would be very fun to draw and Indominus' special traits along with the personality I've come up with for Rory will make for interesting interactions with any other dinos I get. You did a wonderful job with the two here and it was very hard to decide which one I should try for but I like the way the tail and stripes look on the white one so that is the one I am going for.
pic of Indominus from Jurassic World: I couldn't find a good picture from the part of the movie I wanted so I'll do this one instead (it kind of fits my story too):
Image
2 paragraph story: Quake and I were on our way to Canyon Lake where we planned to start a new life for ourselves and my siblings who would follow after I had gotten our new residence in shape. The two of us traveled light, taking almost nothing with us since we were taking the short cut through the valley. We had never been in the area before but I had heard stories about the dangerous carnivore that called that valley home. It was said that he was larger than a T-Rex and very swift, but also that he could be distracted with shiny objects. Knowing this I made sure to pack a fair number of metal dishes, but I was hoping that we wouldn't need to use them until I was ready to have dinner in the city. We were most of the way through the valley when Canyon Lake came into view in the distance. Seeing the great city so close eased my nerves a bit and I breathed a sign of relief as we left the treeline, birds chirping happily around us, and made our way along the road toward that great wall and shelter. Until then we had been traveling through the dark forest where I was sure we would run into some kind of trouble but Quake had remained calm so I kept my worrying in check.

I was beginning to think that we would make it to our destination without incident when the great Wuerhosaurus beneath me began to shift uneasily and sniff the air. The hair rose on my neck as I glanced around but saw nothing. Then a great roar pierced the air sending a chill through my bones. I spun around to see a massive white Rex charging at us. He had been taking cover in the trees, perhaps even following us, waiting for us to get in the open where he could run us down. I told Quake to run but I didn't really need to since he had already decided for himself that that was the best thing to do. We raced as fast as Quake could go, but it was apparent that our pursuer was faster. Fear had taken our hearts and for a moment all our thoughts were on fleeing. The strange Rex was nearly upon us when I finally remembered the dishes. I turned around and untied the ropes that held the pack in place and watched as its contents spilled out on the ground behind us. To my amazement the Rex suddenly stopped dead in his tracks, almost flipping over himself to stop and play with the items we had dropped. I didn't look back again until we were entering the gates. The Rex was then standing away from the dishes watching as his prey slipped away to safety.

Again I wanted to do something different from the movies. I made up Canyon Lake for this story and I plan on using it in my other Dino stories too. I'm going to come up with a whole little world for them.

Drawn by me. The rider is my persona Nicolai.
The "saddle" is just a cushion thrown over the plate and tied on so the ride is a bit more comfortable, but the rider would still have to squat more than sit. Designing tack for a plated dinosaur is hard.

Well, InGen created 2 originally. But I don't think that any can be created naturally. The mixture of the T-Rex and Raptor genes would probably cause infertility to the females.
