"Baker! What did you do?" The younger wolf screamed at his winged friend. "Why is there a new wolf in the hut? You only have slight healing powers! This shouldn't be happening!"
"Please calm down, Bahari. You're scaring them." The Baker responded calmly. "You're scaring me too." The older wolf took a few deep breaths and looked down at the small creature in front of his paws. "Hello there, little one. Do you have a name?" Glowing orange eyes looked up at him, but a loud shriek cut the pup off from replying.
"You can't just make a Paint Wolf appear out of thin air!" Bahari said, still shaken from seeing a wolf appear in front of his own eyes. The Baker threw a bundle of leaves and twigs at the smaller wolf before turning back to the strange pup.
"M-my name's Peanut, s-sir." Her voice was obviously feminine. "Where am I? Where are my papas?" Tears started to roll down her cheeks. "I want my papas!" She started rolling around in the feather-laced bed, screaming out and crying. Not knowing what to do, The Baker leaned over the child and covered her with his wings. Within moments, she had calmed down.
"Please be quiet, little one. Your papas are fine, and you can see them soon. For now, please just get some rest."

Bahari woke up at the crack of dawn, and went straight to the bed where Peanut had slept the previous night. His widened in shock when he saw how drastic her body changes were. "Y-you were just a pup... Why are you the size of...me?" Footsteps approached from behind him, and he turned around to meet The Baker's gentle gaze.
"She is like you, Bahari. Permanently a pup. Well, teen, but same condition. She is just like you." Bahari turned back to the sleeping Peanut. "I must leave and find some mint leaves. We're running out." He handed the younger wolf a dark purple cape made from pure silk. "I doubt I'll be back by the time she wakes up. Please tell her to put that on and then take her to the mainland. You know what family she belongs to, right?" The Baker's question struck Bahari, and he remained clueless until he looked back at Peanut.
"Red's. Ri and Michael's. She couldn't belong to anyone else." He could feel tears swell in the corners of his eyes at the mention of his friend, who had left not long before hand to live with his boyfriend Marco and son Jupiter.
"Exactly. When you reach the mainland, please tell her where to go. She can figure out the rest. I doubt she'd remember where her house is, seeing as she was only 5 when she...passed." The two both paused. She was dead. How could she be alive? "I don't know how I brought her back, but I think it was to do with my feelings when Red left. If I somehow channel the same sorts of feelings, I might be able to bring my wife back."

"Why am I so tired?" The sweet voice and gentle nudge from Peanut jolted Bahari awake. "It feels like I've slept for ages, yet I feel so drained." Her cheek fur was matted with dried tears from the previous night.
"I don't know, but we have to leave. The Baker told me these things I need to tell you but we must leave now." Bahari grabbed the silk cloak and draped it over the tired child. "Run."
The two ran outside and headed towards the beach. Peanut found this terribly difficult due to not walking for a very long time, but with Bahari's coaxing and comforting words, they eventually made it to his boat. Leading Peanut onto the wooden vessel, Bahari quickly showed her around and told her to go and rest in the sleeping quarters. She'd need it. The journey to the mainland was a few hours long, and whilst Bahari grew quickly tired, he still pressed on, not wanting to disappoint The Baker. By the time they hit the land, it was about noon.
"Now, please keep this cape on and follow my directions." Bahari began to explain the quickest route to her family's home, unbeknownst to her that that is where she was going.
"Thank you for being so nice to me in my short time around you, Bahari." Peanut said softly. The older wolf felt his cheeks flush.
"And thank you for being so sweet and lovely to me in my short time being around you, Peanut.
      Now go."
