Hazard Cats are felines with long limbs and robotic parts. Their tails are made of metal with some form of energy in the center that holds it together. Glass screens are installed into their chests that show the cats' health in the form of a heartbeat, glowing orb, or even something else. The color of the glow on the screen matches their eyes, which typically have hollowed pupils. Some cats have static on their screens, but beware. Those cats are as dangerous as they are rare. Grates are positioned on each of the cats' sides and aid in breathing. Depending on the cat, steam, mist, or liquid can come from these grates. They have three eyes, but the one in the center is almost always taped down or covered with a band-aid. This is done due to the hidden and sometimes dangerous powers that the third eye contains. Large eyes allow them to see in extremely low levels of light and their big ears help them hear potential prey miles away. Thanks to their strong legs, Hazard cats can reach speeds up to fifty miles per hour and leap near ten feet up.

Nicknames:
Abby
Abby-noxious (affectionately referring to her obnoxious behaviors)
Most consistently these days she is just called Nox
Gender:
Female
Personality:
Loud;
easily irritated and tends to go on loud rants to anyone who will listen, which is pretty much just May;
when happy, Nox enjoys walking and looking at everything in nature. Again, May is her constant companion as she thinks of taking a stroll as a dainty, traditional recreational activity;
Nox's mood is rather unpredictable because she keeps a lot of it hidden away within her mind until it suddenly bursts out in a rant or in an exuberant string of compliments about anything that currently is making her happy.
Favorite season:
Nox's favorite season is late spring because of the huge thunderstorms which pervade that period of time. She is as excitable as a kit and her fur stands out in anticipation all day when she knows a storm is coming. May can hardly stand her those days, but she does, knowing that its because Nox is just happy. Once the storm begins, Nox will run out into the rain and lightning and thunder where she will run about in the most idiotic manner that May could ever imagine and, in her mind, Nox will "play with the storm" pretending she is playing tag with the lightning.
Coincidentally, late spring is May's least favorite season because she is terrified for Nox's life during that whole season.
Nox's and May's relationship:
Nox and May met during their teenage years, just as May was becoming more "stuffy" as Nox calls it and Nox was becoming more "Abby-noxious" as May calls her. In the manner of many an opposite, the two became the best of friends and even though May continues to grow in her particular ways while Nox continues to grow more uncontrollable, the two would never think of abandoning the other.
This is certainly not to say that they never have their disputes. The two fight like... Well pardon the expression, but like cats and dogs. Once started on a fight, any other hazard in the area will know to leave the vicinity immediately for the two will eventually be a big furcious ball of fur and claws and teeth. Once they break apart, though, Nox (who usually starts it) will help May clean up, apologizing in a most un-Nox like quiet attitude the whole time. She hates upsetting May because she knows that May does her best to put up with her crazy personality. May will then forgive Nox because its the right thing to do and also because she knows deep down that Nox doesn't mean to hurt her feelings and that May would be lonely without her best friend. To make up for the fight, Nox will remain somewhat subdued for a while and do something that May likes to do.
Actually, Nox will often give into what May likes to do, even though she often considers it to be nonsense. The two actually often have a lot of fun together, because May will enjoy the activity while Nox points out the flaws in the reasoning behind it. May will then unwind and be able to laugh a little at herself and her particular nature while Nox gets to speak her mind. Meanwhile, Nox learns to participate in more civilized frolics which help to tone down her more unruly personality. So really, it ends up being good for the both of them.
