Mosasaurus once ruled the Cretaceous seas. An immense seagoing lizard-and not an actual dinosaur. Mosasaurus can use its fearsome array of teeth to catch fish, birds, and other marine reptiles-even great white sharks. In fact, Mosasaurus has a second set of teeth in its upper palate that ensures any prey sliding down its throat will not be able to escape.

Hello, my name is Dissimulodeerling. I found myself quite dissappointed when I first found that I couldn't try for this boy due to full slots. Thankfully, however. Locked slots came along and gave me the opportunity to build a form for him, I hope you enjoy what I could do last minute. I'm sorry if the story is really gappy. My writing hasn't been too great, I got Raven's permission to use Theni and Balto's and Raven's permission to reference their Hight rp.

I decided the name that would suit this wolf would be Lorixander.
In English the meaning of the name Lori is: The laurel tree or sweet bay tree symbolic of honor and victory. And Xander means defending men.

in the deep of the ocean Lorixander is lightning fast.
One of the most deadly predators by the beach.
He spends a lot of his time underwater hunting and is often
perceived as a vicious sea monster.
Lori's tastes, however. Are limited to sea food.
He is an excellent swimmer and fisherman.

On land, Lorixander is slow and timid.
He is not as well adapted to land-
He knows many wolves think he's a sea-monster
while he's underwater. This makes it harder for him.
He is painfully shy and very sweet,
though he seems vicious
while underwater.

In despite of Lorixander's vicious outlook, he is really a very sweet rpw and had a heart of gold. He really loves the company of his dolphin friends because they don't judge him based on his looks. Outside of his little friends, he often finds himself wandering near shore to watch the wolves on land but the poor guy accidentally terrifies them. Not his fault he has a mouthful of sharp teeth. Seeing wolves afraid has turned Lorixander into a very shy wolf. He would love to meet more wolves but the thought of scaring them scares him.

Lorixander Loves crustaceans because unlike most of his foods, Crustaceans are hard to crack and have a nice juicy center. His least favorite food is seagulls because they have too many feathers, are annoying to catch. And taste like things he shouldn't taste. Lori finds it easy to crack coconuts, similar with the crustaceans he enjoys cracking a hard shell to get something sweet.Any other drink just won't cut it for Lori, he is incredibly picky. His favorite activities are swimming, fishing, and eating. It's basically what Lori was built for. He hates walking, climbing, reading, basically anything that requires him being on land.
If he does come on land, he prefers to come during twilight. He can see the sun over the horizon, but being out in broad daylight makes him feel hot and uncomfortable. Dolphins are great buddies to play with, Lori never eats them. Sharks however, he really doesn't like as animals or friends. They don't taste bad though. They're his favorite- next to most crustaceans.

Meals and meetings.
It was a Bright sunny day, Just how Lorixander hated it, the sunlight reflected from the water hurt his eyes.
Not to mention all of the surfers that came onto the waves at times like this.
"I swear if I hear another call of sea-monster." the hungry rpw growled to himself in his head but stopped short. He saw his next meal. Normally he would prefer crab or lobster, but he saw a rather tasty looking shark. He was about catch it, but realized quickly that the shark had started attacking a surfer, those fish had no respect. He couldn't help but notice however, that the surfer the shark had caught in its jaws, had a tail resembling a shark himself. His It may not have been the first shark attack Lori had seen, but never had he seen an rpw with a trait so similar to him. He waited until the chaos ceased. Really he would have followed the other wolves, but too hungry to think about it, Lori chased their attacker down and trapped it in a cave. He was going to have a fairly decent meal.
After Loraxander finished, he felt quite full and decided to swim up to the rocks he liked resting on...or maybe even the beach. Yes, the beach was softer, and there was a cloud cover now. It would be perfect for a nap. He smiled to himself and swam up, crawling onto the beach. But coincidence had it that he ran into another Rpw.
Theni yelped with fright as what appeared to be a sea-monster crawled out of the water. She was afraid she was going to be eaten. "Ugh." Lori muttered before seeing a crab scramble across the sand, with a crunch, he trapped it in his jaws and quickly ate it. Theni blinked and slowly opened her eyes while he was distracted.
"You're not a sea monster!" she exclaimed in surprise. "You're a wolf!"
Lora looked back at her. "quite the observation." he said honestly impressed someone had looked at him before running away.
"O-oh I'm sorry." Theni apologized immediately. "I-I'm kind of slow, I didn't mean to state the obvious..."
Hesitantly, Lorixander gave a toothy smile. "I meant it as a compliment, not many realize I am a wolf..." he said quietly.
Theni blinked. "O-oh, thank you... you mean, nobody's noticed?"
Lori smiled. "Nah." he started going back into the sea, feeling a bit awkward Theni walked away.

Lorixander glared at a bird that kept trying to take every meal he caught. "Stop taking my food you nasty bird!" he growled crossly, the bird only cawed at him, so he decided to teach it a lesson, jumping out of the water he snapped at it, letting the creature fly away. "There!" he huffed. "That'll teach you to take a Mosasaurus's food." he huffed before swimming towards the beach, muttering under his breath before scanning across the beach, reading a sign. "Cleanest beaches on the coast." He snorted and looked at the trash spread everywhere. "yeah right...food is never going to come with his garbage." Lorixander reached and started picking up all of the trash scattered across his beach. He hated how nasty- not only seagulls were, but how other rpws were as well.. he blinked and finally finished a little later in the day and saw a huge crab. "Mmmm a good meal to celebrate a job well done!" he purred happily but as he captured the creature in his mighty jaws, shadow came above him..Again with those darn seagulls? he stared down at the shadow and noticed it was 10- no...20 times the size of a seagull's shadow. He yelped and quickly dodged the landing creature, almost choking on the crab he just ate. He blinked and saw a strange rpw, well by strange, he thought not regular, but this rpw resembled him one or two ways. The wolf groaned...it looked like something had hit him while he was flying. Slowly Lori wandered closer and removed a dart from his thigh. "Tranquilizer." he muttered before hearing shouts and running. "can't leave it here, we'll both get caught." he said staring back towards the shouts. Within seconds there was a splash in the water and both dinosaurs were gone. Lorixander would take the unconscious creature to the stones by where he lived, where other wolves couldn't go. Once he got there he fanned the wolf dry a bit, but his wings were still quite wet. So Lorixander decided to catch some fish and crabs while the wolf slept, after a few hours the crabs were all eaten and the fish all piled. "Ah-" the sleeping wolf muttered.
Lori blinked lightly. He was waking up, but unexpected to him the wolf started freaking out and was about to try and fly. "Stop it." he muttered slapping the wolf with his fin, a bit of purple paint getting on him, dazed the wolf looked at him wide-eyed. He was terrified. Lorixander blinked staring at him, he really didn't look too threatening up close. "You had a really nasty fall, if you try flying here and your wing isn't good." he said. "then you'd inevitably fall in the ocean and drown." he walked towards the food he had gathered and nudged it towards him, it was probably strange food to the wolf, but Lori didn't care. "eat it before I do." he said lightly. "I spent a lot of time hunting this down while you were asleep."
The wolf continued staring at him and slowly started eating the fish.
The finned wolf stared right back, he noticed that He seemed afraid he blinked and stared off towards land. "Scientists are stubborn creatures, aren't they? always wanting to know what they don't understand." Lorixander was quite strong and didn't mind them so much however, all he had to do to prevent them from attacking was eat a shark and dive underwater. He was too clever to be caught by nets or fishing hooks. and often bit through nets to save his dolphin friends. He sat and ate some crab, very happy that Drake didn't' attempt to steal his own food. Really he didn't mind having someone to talk to, though he hoped he would talk back eventually, he liked being able to talk to someone besides himself. "it's the gulls you need to look out for-" he started but before he could finish a seagull flew down and began to peck the food it was going to fly away but Lorixander opened his jaws, allowing for Drake to see how terrifyingly dangerous he could be if he made enemies with him. Lori's jaws closed around the seagull before he spat out feathers and made a face. "Nasty creatures."
Lori blinked hearing a yelp and stared at his rescue looked like Lori startled the other wolf. "sorry about that, I hate Seagulls...not only do they steal your food, but they taste like their own droppings." he sat down lightly and flicked an ear hearing the other wolf whimper and whisper. Quietly asking Lori who he was. "My name is Lorixander." he said politely nodding his head before smiling a toothy grin, surprisingly cute for having such deadly teeth. "What's your name? I don't see many of my own kind around here."
Drake ave Lori a small unsure smile.
"It's okay, I just, I'm not used to others, you are the second person ever to talk to me, " he shrugged.
Lorixander looked a bit closer at the other.
He had a grayish red pelt, a short tail, and clearly defined wings. His jaw resembled a beak, but he was definitely a rpw.
He slowly blinked processing Lori's question.
"Drake," he mumbled, eyes downcast.
Lorixander blinked and chuckled lightly. "It's alright." he had a warm chuckle and sat down, despite his bitterness towards seagulls, he had no ill will towards Drake. "I do not speak to many wolves either. I'm usually mistaken for a 'sea monster' he said before slapping a dead crab towards him. "these are the tastiest, you should try one." he suggested. "if you want to catch them, they do crawl on the beach, those dreadful seagulls flock around them." once he finished speaking he continued eating, he didn't seem bothered by drake at all... he pushed a few more crabs towards Drake, seeing as he didn't have anymore fish, and then he dove back down into the water to catch some more fish, Drake couldn't see him well when he was underwater and he stayed down for several minutes before coming back up and dropping another pile of fish for the wolf. The other wolf was confused when he went down and hesitantly ate the crab. But once Lori returned with the fish, Drake smiled. "thank you." he said gently. He seemed to like Lorixander, he wasn't terribly used to wolves being nice to him- Lori noticed. After some time Drake looked down. "why are they after me?" he asked lightly. "I can't remember anything from before they had me- I-I don't know."
Lorixander shook his head. "I don't know." he replied. Lorixander blinked and shook his fur dry before sitting beside his pile of crabs that were left and looking at him. "They must have done a lot to you then. You probably shut down and put it out of your head, or they gave you something so you wouldn't fight to get back to what you had." he stretched across the ground. "Can you tell if they hurt your wings?" he asked rolling onto his back and exposing his stomach to take in the sunshine, though Lori didn't like the brightness because it hurt his eyes, he did enjoy the warmth of the sun.
"Maybe" Drake mumbled. "Could be, but I will probably never know." he said sadly while scratching at the ground with a clawed wing.
"oh yeah Sure" he spread his wings and beat both of them. "They are fine." He smiled at Lory then jumped as he suddenly remembered something. "Avian! I don't know what happened to him!" he yelped before pacing worriedly.
Lori blinked...he didn't know who Avian was but he nodded softly. "alright, hop on my back and I can take you to shore, but you'll be on your own from here on out." he added. "I have to stay by the sea where I can find food and shelter."
"thanks." the red rpw mumbled before climbing onto Lori's back, he spread his wings across his back trying to keep balanced as he swam across.
Lorixander blinked and nodded swimming back across with the wolf on his back, he was precise and swam quickly. "You'll find your friend, I'm sure." he said reassuringly gently stepping onto the sand and watching Drake hop of, shaking his wings dry.
"Thank you Lorixander, really thank you, I hope we met again," Drake smiled.
I start walking, he threw one last look back at Lori before rounding a corner.
Really, he wondered when- if he would see this odd wolf again before lowering himself back into the depths. It would be nice to see his interesting little friend again.
