Stellaluna uses her good omen tags whenever she needs good luck, mainly when it comes to friends. Stellaluna (Stella for short) is different and has a hard time making friends, so she uses her good omen tags when trying to make some, though it never seems to work for her.
why/how often do they use their bad omen tags;
Stellaluna uses her her bad omen tags as props when telling scary stories. She loves telling scary stories around camp fires and at sleep overs. They add to the story's scaryness and make them more real.

This is her lucky fire opal necklace. She found this by a lake on one of her many adventures and has never taken it off. She believes the necklace is good luck and processes magic to make anything she wants, happen.

Carlos believes that both tags must be used together equally. He has great belief that if he does not tag things equally, that great chaos will come over him and those around him. Often the Scribble Dragon will be found muttering to himself, notebook in hand as he furiously looks over the many tags he has noted over the years. Counting... Forever counting. Then scurrying off to tag other objects and people, to make sure that all is balanced in his own little world. If one is noted to be higher than the other, the Scribble becomes increasingly frantic until he has tagged another object. Good... bad... without both, then things will become unbearable.

Minx has spent much of her life removing toxic people from it.
This has left her with a close circle of caring sincere friends,
though they may occasionally tease. And so,
she uses her good omen tags very often,
sneaking them into her friends' bags
or attaching them to gifts.
Sadly most of her loved ones aren't as superstitious as she is,
but she showers them in luck & fortune regardless.
ᵇᵃᵈ ᵗᵃᵍˢ:: Well,
as her name indicates, she's a trickster.
Minx loves to steal things and trick others.
However, she doesn't like to mess with bad omens,
and so she rarely uses these tags.
In her mind, it's more noble to use them
only, and only, after extensive thought.
Never does Minx use them when angry.

Very often, loves for everyone to be happy. He hopes one day he can make everyone happy. That's why he sticks the good tags on trees!

And if he doesn't make everyone happy, he believes he will be cursed and never be happy again...

He doesn't do it often, he is a very happy little boy. He loves for everyone to be happy, not sad! He only does this to expired milk or something like that...

Bobby has anger issues, believe it or not.
He gets very mad/sad if someone rejects his good omen tags, he often twitches and cringes. He also has random fits of screams, he often snaps out of this in a couple of days.
But if he doesn't he believes he has the curse of not being happy again, and trys everything he can do like fortune cookies. If he gets one that says something good, he feels healed.
