Tanzeni lions are slightly smaller than their African cousins but are equally as dangerous unless raised from birth. They reach maturity at about seven years of age, and live twice as long as regular lions. The oldest recorded was a male in the wild reaching 57 years of age, ten years longer than the average. Tanzeni lions come in every color but unnatural colors severely hinders their ability to hunt and most brightly colored TZL's are shamans or healers. All Tanzeni lions are born with an innate love of snow. Tanzeni lions are omnivores, feeding on both meat and berries when the season permits. Tanzeni lions have a social hierarchy that is similar to other lion species.

This female is exceptionally rare - she is a chimera.

Callie is short, simple, and to the point with her words, but she's not mean. Intentionally. She might be a bit rough around the edges, and sure, maybe a it rude, but she's got a tough-love kind of attitude. The more she hastles you, the more she cares about you. She's nicest to those she doesn't know. Callie's a great healer despite her attitude and he sometimes hard-to-hear accent, and is well respected. She's like everyone's mom. And she'll fight for you, even if she is a healer.

History and why she became a healer:
Callie was born into the pride as a normal cub, but the only one in her litter. Some even thought she was two cubs mixed together, for her ability to play with herself. Nothing was too boring for her. But there was always her odd empathy toward lions that had been hurt, she always wanted to help. Because she could tell. Eventually, she made it. She was the only one available to help someone an she did the Job well. So she became a healer. As she got older, though, she realized how much she stuck out. Her fur wasn't exactly a common color.
her first lost patient was to sickness, Her mother, She was still young then, but seemed old in spirit. it made her cold, odd. For awhile, it seemed she'd give up on healing. But she came back again, she powered through, and here she is today, one of the senor healers(assuming there are some ) and quite happy, even if she doesn't seem so.

Personality:
This TZL is very gruff to most others, and has never truly opened herself up to anyone. When she was a very young cub, the opposite was true: she was bubbly, energetic, and very talkative. Now, however, most things that come out of her mouth are painfully honest or dryly sarcastic. It seems to most TZL that the only time she'll speak a truly kind word is to comfort her patients and their family.

History:
Since she was born, her parents have been indifferent to her strange coat patterns, loving her unconditionally despite her fur. However, as she matured, she found that not everyone was capable of that. In young adolescence nearly through to adulthood, she was bullied by other cubs who were afraid of things they didn't understand. Only a few TZL her age were kind to her. As she grew older, she abandoned her happy-go-lucky personality and optimistic view on life in favor of a wall of silence fractured only by severe sarcasm. Revenge, though not too important to her, is something she'll covertly bring upon the TZL who bullied her in her youth if they ever happen to become injured, perhaps giving them a bit more of that terribly bitter herb than needed or just shy of the right amount of painkilling herbs.

Why did she become a Healer?:
Spatter became a healer due to her deep compassion for medicine. Since she was a cub, she's been fascinated with all the different uses of plants. Although her strange fur patterns wouldn't be too much of a hindrance in hunting, she never wanted to take that path, instead working hard to become a brilliant healer.
