Breeding Rules
Please do NOT post on this thread; forms and questions should be PM'ed directly to artists.
Please follow all regular adoption rules.
All Dusa may breed up to 10 times.
Dusa may only breed twice per month, and any previous litters from either parent must be full grown before they can breed again.
Dusa fawns should grow between 1-3 weeks, depending on the artist. Please do not harass artists about growths.
Dusas can be bred naturally (female & male) at any time, but female X female and male X male breedings are only available occasionally. This does not mean that Dusa cannot form bonded pairs or even adopt fawns with members of their own sex, only that they cannot reproduce together on their own.
Please be respectful of artists, and observe their breeding rules.

Basic Breeding Information
Each breeding artist will have different rules and requirements, but all will have two common factors which will tell you what type of breedings, if any, are available: "Breeding Season" and "Environmental Conditions".
When "Breeding Season" reads "On", Dusa breedings are available. However, they may not be available for all Dusa. In the wild, and in captive packs, Dusa breeding seasons depends heavily on environmental conditions. In "Excellent" Environmental conditions, any member of a Dusa pack may breed. When environmental conditions read "Fair" only the 2 most dominant females in the pack may breed. In "Poor" environmental conditions, only the dominant female of any pack may breed.
"Pack" refers to all Dusa that any one member owns.
Please note that the coats of all Dusa fawns look different from those of adults; so if you order a breeding and the colour looks really strange, your baby will probably grow out of it once they reach adulthood! For example, both designs on the nursery cover are Black Pinzgauers, (EE/aa/Sp) but the fawn is much lighter than the mother.

Additional Breeding Information
Coat Colour
Coat colour will be determined using the coat colour genetics of the parents, punnet squares and a random number generator.
Personality
Social personality, which roughly determines the social rank of a Dusa, is inherited from the parents. Because Dusa highly matriarchal, it is based primarily off of the rank of the mother, though the father has some influence. If both parents have the same personality type, their offspring will also have their personality type (ex: two dominants will always produce a dominant). The sex off the offspring will also play a role. Here is a basic guide for cross-type breedings:
Dominant Female + Submissive Male = Dominant Female, Moderately Dominant Male
Submissive Female + Dominant Male = Moderately Dominant Female, Submissive Male
Moderately Dominant + Dominant = Dominant Female, Moderately Dominant Male
Moderately Dominant Female + Submissive Male = Moderately Dominant Female, Submissive Male
Submissive Female + Moderately Dominant Male = Submissive
Species
"Pure" - Will display only characteristics of that species
"Impure" - May display some characteristics of other species, such as different horns, fur or coat colour.
