Nadia has an interest in bird and owls, Nebula has a loving for navigation and sometimes can be seen climbing and watching.

Why does their fur look like feathers?:
Avian, being the silly and optimistic girl that she is, wants to blend in with her surroundings when she's outside. So, in order to blend in with the birds, she styled her fur into feathers.
Accesory:
Three shiny rings in her left ear. Nobody aside from her knows what they're made of, but when caught by the sun, they sparkle with a gentle rainbow sheen.

(pfft, 'aviary' simple contest because birds have feathers, ha!)
