OSSORIA species known to eat anything they can get into their mouths. They've got very hardy digestive systems, and are immune to most toxins. They have no nostrils, but very long prehensile tongues that they use to catch insects and grab fruit from trees. They have weaker hind legs, and so are not known to ever stand solely on those. Their fluff is very soft, and often shaved off to be made into comfortable clothes. Their saliva has hallucinogenic properties, so be careful if one tries to lick you!

What do they find most beautiful? Themselves! Akai, being a very vain ossori, are so self-absorbed and care so much about their own looks that they've convinced themselves that they're the most beautiful of them all.

What do they find most beautiful? Berlin would find the way that humans interact with each other to be the most beautiful thing. All of the emotion and customs that they use when greeting each other, having a conversation, spending time together, or anything else within that vicinity, is something he absolutely loves. It could be as simple as a small hug or kiss on the cheek, or as complicated as a large family reunion or a party where the humans are just celebrating the presence of each other. It amazes him to see a species that -for some- is based off of such love and compassion.
Extra: Because I am not capable of producing high-quality art, I decided to write something instead. There are two characters referred to in this story that were made up simply for this piece of writing. (Word Count: 465)
Berlin cantered about the center of the clearing with his two friends close by, right on his heels.
"I'm going to catch you!" A high-pitched voice rang out, followed by a bout of giggles.
"Not if I have anything to do with it!" A deeper voice challenged, sounding abnormally serious.
The white and black ball of fluff fought the urge to glance over his shoulder -even for a second- because he knew that if he did, he would be tagged. He chuckled along with his friends, Clarisse and Ryo, desperately trying to put more ground between himself and his pair of pursuers. He jokingly taunted them as he went, making circles in the tall grasses of the forest clearing, ears twitching at the sound of his friends bickering. He thought it to be friendly, perhaps all part of the game, but before he could throw in a couple more playful jeers, there was a thud and a yelp, followed shortly by the fretful sound of sniffling. With his orange hooves planted firmly in the ground, Berlin skidded to a stop and turned around. His eyes widened at what he saw: Clarisse sitting on the ground, dark mud painting her light pink coat, with tears falling from her eyes. Ryo stood a few feet away, glancing back over his shoulder.
"He pushed me," Clarisse let out before Berlin could conduct any questions.
"Did not!" Ryo snapped back, jerking his head around to look at his friend.
Berlin's eyes shifted between the two. Ryo had been awfully serious about the game, and he honestly was the type that would do something like that just to win.
"I think you should go," Berlin finally spoke to Ryo.
The other male scoffed and shrugged his shoulders, saying, "Fine. I didn't want to hang out with you guys anyway."
Berlin then turned his attention to his fallen friend, helping her back to her feet and nuzzling her cheek, "Don't worry about him, Clar. He's just mad that you were winning the game. Are you alright?"
"Thank you, Berlin," she murmured, sniffling quietly, "I'm fine. Don't worry." She offered him a soft smile as a form of reassurance.
"You know," The black and white Ossori mused, "The humans don't act like this. They are kind and they greet each other with smiles. They are always hugging and cuddling with each other, smiling and laughing. They take care of each other, and I think that is really beautiful." Of course he knew that not all humans acted this way, but Clarisse was young, and she didn't need to know that just yet.
Her eyes brightened and she gave a little hop, "Really? That does sound beautiful."
Berlin nudged her soft, pink fur once more and smiled, "It really is."
