I Dare
Name Damian
What makes a good villian? What makes a good villain is a good protagonist. The protagonist challenges the villain, forcing him to improve upon themself. They must learn to be patient, wise, and cunning.
A good story about why he is how he is Damian's story is..interesting. He never really was quite normal. Compared to his brothers and sisters, who were tabby cats and gray, he was pure black with haunting blue eyes (or whatever eye color he has, I can't see his eyes very well). He grew up with malice and anger in his heart, as he was even as a young kitten, shunned by his family and others. When one day, he had ENOUGH of this, being treated like an outcast, a demon, his anger and malice grew so large, it reached his soul. Now, when a soul changes, it is no small event. After all this time, after having crammed all this anger and malice in his heart that showed when he laughed dryly, smiled cruelly, it had reached his soul. There was an explosion, the moment his soul was corrupted with all of this. The explosion was seen from miles and miles away. His family and others that were near the area, but not quite affected ran toward the spot. They were all wondering what this was, what had happened, and how. The smoke cleared. Damian was no longer a regular car. Bat-like wings protruded from his back and pointed, slightly spiraled horns raised upward from his head. Onlookers looked at him in horror. He had truly become a demon now. When he saw the expressions of those around him, from the crater he was standing in by the explosion that had happened, he started laughing. First a giggle, then maniacal laugh. Kits recoiled behind their mothers. Grown cats shuddered in fear. One large, ginger cat lunged at him, ears pinned back and yowling in anger. But fear shined in his eyes. Damian growled and with a swift bite to the ginger cat's neck, a snap was heard. The cat's neck was broken. Damian let the body fall limply to the ground with a small thump. He glared and smirked at the cowering crowd. "Do you dare?" He asked in a low, menacing voice. Many cats turned tail and fled, scared out of their fur. Few other cats stuck around to try to fight the demon. They were all slain, others slower, painful and more gruesome than others. He left the bodies there to rot,as flies were already appearing to feast upon the dead cats. They would serve as what would happen if others were to dare to go against him. Although he had wings, he seldom sued them, but he did learn to fly. He had a scar on his eye from being attacked by a group, whom he killed with a bit of difficulty since they were admittedly quite skilled, and others from other fights. He rarely lost. He had slain many by stabbing with his horns, his teeth or using his claws. There would always be those who go against him. There would always be one cat who would survive his encounters and raise others to help defeat him. But Damian still lives. He still reigns with his terror. Before you challenge him, he will ask, "Do you dare?" And if you lose, before you die, he will say in a low, almost amsued voice, "You shouldn't have dared." before he kills you. So I ask of you again: Do you dare?
