A mew pierces the night and Brackenflight peeps his head into the nursery.
Thrushleap is fiercely licking a tiny kit. She pauses and smiled at Brackenflight.
The little kit squishes his face up and pushes his way to Thrushleaps belly to suckle.

What an adorable baby! It's cream with white tabby stripes. I can't wait for it to open it's eyes! It's very small. It's not too sickly, but it is a little bit weak. That's probably why Thrushleap was licking him so much. He has Brackenflight's legs and tail, but he definitely takes after his mother more.
