You haven't seen spunk like this one! Trefoil might at times seem reckless, and there are times when she really is, but she always, always comes out all right. How? Some cats think she has a little bit of magic up her coat. Others believe she's just lucky. Still others think that it's a blessing from St. Patrick. Whichever it is, Trefoil looks at life with a sparkle of hope and pure, honest daring. She is not afraid to question, and not afraid to know the answers. For that matter, she's not afraid of anything! ...Or is she?

As her name suggests, Trefoil has three sides to her. The first is a spunky, exciting side: the daring little cat. She couldn't keep still, running around, exploring and enjoying every minute. She has some bit of a troublemaker in her, questioning things with bright green eyes and an open mind. The second is a sharp, watchful side. She's actually rather careful, never taking unnecessary risks. Though she might make decisions quite fast, her reasoning is never half-baked. Sometimes, this side of her makes her distrusting, but this is usually hidden away. She chooses to act bright, cheerful and outgoing most of the time! The third is her resilient, problem-solving side. She adapts quickly to any situation... or almost any situation. Sometimes she just will not engage.
Her actions are usually 'governed' by the three 'parts' of her above. Of course, since she is quite unpredictable, it shouldn't surprise anyone if a secret piece of her personality surfaces from time to time!

-I think this is some kind of story?-
A Day In the Life of a Clover-marked Cat: Presented by the Hour with a 24-hour clock
00:00
By the light of the moon and stars, a cat that resembles the bright green of fresh clover in the snow prowls. Tonight, she can be found navigating silently in a wood, her paws making surprisingly little sound over the spring soil.
01:00
The rustles and whistles of an early spring night in the woods doesn't seem to bother her. She pauses for a moment to watch an owl fly by, and listens for its hoot before proceeding. She slows around a tree in the woods, and settles for a while on the patch of clover that sprung up by its roots.
02:00
After a little rest, she's on the move again. For a while she pokes into crevices by tree roots, tree hollows, and branches searching seemingly random trees with a sense of purpose. What is she looking for?
03:00
After a while of nimbly exploring trees, she decides to settle in one, up in the branches. Actually, no one is really sure if she settled at all, since she just didn't come down for a while.
04:00
She isn't seen off the tree for this time.
05:00
Some time after this hour, movement is sensed. Again, she is looking for something. She jumps off the tree with ease and pounces upon something that crawled out of a small burrow of sorts. It appears to be some kind of snake.
06:00
She has been prowling again, pretending to be a wild cat in the woods. The sun would come up soon and she appeared to have a bounce in her step instead of care. She stops for a while to observe the forest at sunrise.
07:00
Her poking around almost put her in trouble with a hedgehog. No harm done though. If anything, they appeared to be greeting each other a good morning from the winter's sleep. She stalks the hedgehog until it hides off in some bushes.
08:00
By now she appears to be heading to a place with a higher human population. She takes her time, however and catches an unlucky bird. She is definitely not in a hurry to leave the forest.
09:00
It's getting really warm so she, strangely, decides to wade about in a little stream. She manages to terrorize a lot of little fish. Later on, when she decides to get out of the water, she shakes her coat dry, turning it a bit fluffy. She takes some time to lick herself.
10:00
A fox slinks near the stream to drink. They stare at each other for a while as if sizing each other up. After what appears to be some exchange, they decide to simply respect each other's space.
11:00
Again, the little cat climbs up a tree, curling up in its branches. The weather was getting warm, perfect for a little nap.
12:00
She sleeps high noon off, lazily swishing her tail once at a bug that flew past her.
13:00
As of this time, she is still resting.
14:00
She suddenly jumps up at a sound below her. There were humans in the wood. She was generally wary of them, especially this kind as these appeared to be... hunters? They were settling down and planning something, possibly for the fox. They had dogs.
15:00
For some reason, this cat was not afraid of dogs. After the humans settled down to rest, she jumped down from the tree, bothering the dogs and giving them something to chase. This woke the humans up. Though half-asleep, the chase began. She was always just one step ahead, scrambling up trees and jumping down recklessly. Perhaps she was leading them somewhere.
16:00
She had escaped the woods and slipped into a farm rather easily, with the dogs at her tail. By now, she was impossible to find. The humans spent some time apologizing to an angry farmer for their dogs terrorizing the farm animals and causing havoc.
17:00
Having long since lost the dogs, she hitches a ride with the farmer to the marketplace in the city. He's selling a lot of vegetables and she somehow managed to keep herself hidden.
18:00
She has been walking around the marketplace for a while. There were so many strange smells and tastes, sounds, sights and- she quickly dodges a human foot. These humans were busy. At least it was easy to grab or steal some fish. As long as she stayed in the noisy, bustling place, she had little to worry about with food. There were even other cats here! They were street-hardened, tough, and quite territorial. She had trouble fitting in, but her spunk knew no boundaries.
19:00
They encountered trouble with a fish seller. He was coming at them with a mallet. They scrambled out of the way while he chased after them. Through all the commotion, the green-coated she-cat managed to take one of the best fish in the house, and the respect of her peers. They had a good meal that night.
20:00
Somehow, she had spent the entire day without having the humans notice her beautiful green coat. She would find out why from the other cats. There was a recent human celebration called St. Patrick's Day, which was dressed up in bright green and clovers. This was, one of them explained, closely related to Ireland and its traditions. The cat claimed to have come from a long line of Irish cats. Most of the cats agreed that the humans must have thought that she was a "victim" of this holiday, a cat painted green.
21:00
Most of them were resting by this time, and the humans were already finishing up their packing, when what seemed to be an animal catcher came. He asked for a cat with a strange coat. Covering everything up with mud, the cats tried to quickly move away, but the catcher found them. There was another confused chase. Luckily, however, the packing humans and their wares got in the way of the catcher's nets, so they managed to escape.
22:00
It was a tiring night and the all just settled down to rest.
23:00
The moon is out and the night went on. Life continues for a green-coated cat and her friends
