Timer's off, my computer crashed mid-draw and got all funky, I spent about 15 minutes on this guy before that... The timer reset or something I guess? Not sure....

Day one

Dear Blog,

I have discovered that I will be training a Guardian Fox! They say he's quite difficult, but I have confidence that I will succeed. My goal is focusing on helping him out of his past, and making him feel loved. I have been shown the facility where I will be training him. There is a (quite large) field, and a small shed. I will be living in the shed until my work is done. He doesn't have a name yet, but I am sure that once I see him I will think of one. For now they call him Seven, but I can't imagine why. I hope that he likes me!

Dear blog,
Today I have finally met the Guardian Fox. He didn't have a name yet, so I decided to call him Bone. His mist is a pinkish-purplish color, and I find it quite nice. He seems to be blind in one eye, and when I tried to approach him, he growled at me. I need to keep quiet enough around him, which seems to be proving difficult as I am quite clumsy. Every time I bump into something, creating the absolute slightest noise, he whines and scurries outside. He doesn't like the shed at all, so I've set up a tarp outside. He is still distrusting of me, but I'm trying my hardest, spoiling him rotten in the process. I hope things go better soon.

Dear blog,
Today I brought Bone for a walk, but he whined once we heard noises from another training area. He ran back towards the large field where we are keeping him. I ran after him, and once we got back, I gave him a large bag of Jolly Ranchers, which he seemed to enjoy very much. After that, he seemed more willing to go inside the shed, but still not all the way sure. He came in for a few minutes while I made my bed, but after that ran back outside. He doesn't seem to like confined spaces or large dogs. They say he was found roaming in the forest, his eye still blind, and I hope I can help him... Although for now I guess that help is candy. He enjoys it a lot. Anyways, he's finally warming up to me, and I hope it stays that way!

Bone has been acting up a bit lately, and has also drank all of our milk. I found him tearing the tops off and lapping it up. At least now I've found something to bribe him with, at least once I go to the store to get more. A stray cat ran into our yard yesterday, and he chased it around. They seemed to be having fun. After a bit he whacked into a tree, so I had to run over and bring him inside. He's started getting more friendly, coming in the shed for minutes at a time, instead of seconds. I hope soon he can stay in there all night, as I am terribly scared of sleeping alone, but I guess baby-steps for now.

Yesterday the impossible happened. No, the sun did not explode, nor did I gain superpowers, nor did a fictional character come alive. No, the earth did not cave in on itself, no, I did not finally beat level seventy, also I didn't finally learn how to draw the perfect person. BUT. Bone and I actually sat in the shed on my bed for an ENTIRE HOUR. It went by quicker than I anticipated, but I am very pleased that he has started trusting me more. Today we pretty much just ate junk food and lounged around all day, but I feel I am making progress! Tomorrow we will explore the woods!

post six

Oh my, how time flies! Me and Bone are pretty close now... maybe I should tell you that story...
Well, as we went off to explore the woods, I heard a growling sound coming from behind a tree. Scaredy cat as he was, Bone ran behind me and hid. I walked over to investigate, and lo and behold, apparently mountain lions like the forest. We pretty much ran back to the shed in two seconds flat, but then we were too scared to go back outside... There was nothing to do besides watch a movie... Guess what were the only movies I had on hand?
Horror movies.
Bone and I were freaked after a marathon, so we both went to bed. So far we still haven't come out of the shed until now, when I had to make a run for it to come and get the laptop I'm blogging on right here.
