What are Corkies?
Corki - Singular | Corkies - Plural
Corkies are somewhat like Corgis. Their build is just like the average canine, but with rounded ears and a bottle connecting one side to another. What's inside the bottle? That's a whole 'nother story. The item/companion that the Corki keeps is very significant to them and if it is taken away or lost, the Corki will become depressed or even die. In the case of the item being a living animal, it lives as long as the Corki does and eats whatever it eats. Corkies communicate with others by a series of 'clinking', basically meaning their 'bark' is a 'clink' sound. They still can speak the average human language and understand it just as well.

The markings are an add layer of white.

About the gold items: Tyde found his golden bracelet and necklace while he was walking along a secluded beach when he was very young. They had looked like they were washed up from the ocean, so Tyde assumed that they may have originally came from a sunken ship. Since Tyde loves gold, he decided to take them when he concluded that the owner wasn't anywhere close by. He only learned about his golden items when he returned home and his parents demanded how he got the necklace and bracelet. His parents told Tyde that they belonged to his grandfather, who was lost at sea and never found again. Tyde still does not know how the items ended up on that beach, but he knows that he will protect them with everything he has.

About the gold items: He caries around the gold items because they are his only remembrance of his family, as he lost them to a horrible earthquake. He treasures them for the rest of his life and if anyone tries to touch them, he will undeniably swipe his claws to keep Them away, or if he senses they are stronger than him, he will just lay on the floor weeping until death. But he hasn't lost them yet so he's fine c:

About the gold items:He carries these items because it was a gift from his father(his father was a blacksmith), one day his father got a gift from a explorer which included nuggets of gold so his father made them into pieces of jewelry and when Turquoise was born he was given the precious items as a memo for his birth. This is why turquoise treasures these so very much and would never sell them/ let them go. As for the gold nugget it was the only piece of evidence that his father ever even existed. (there's a legend that with the help of a human, the father may be brought back to life, as for the mother some say she died from birth and can never be brought back.)
