Vortex is a dark, cunning, and mysterious Kitsuneko. He is a drifter, always in the back ground. Vortex is selectively mute, refusing to speak unless he really has to. Vortex is rather social, but tends to stay in the back. He is wise, yet cunning. Vortex is also rather playful, loving to play pranks on others or writing off different jokes for others to laugh at. He is most vocal around very close friends or family. He is rather odd and random, coming up with weird ideas or odd come backs. He may not speak, but he is rather cunning.

Vortex hums softly, surrounded by stacks of books. His two tails flick as he sets a book down in front of him. It took him many years to find this leather bound book. It took him almost twenty years to finally chase the book down. He traveled all over the world just to get the book. On the cover is a simple outline of a flame with the word spells under the flame. He stares at the first page, still amazed that he finally got the book. The kitsuneko smiles in delight, over joyed his hunting is now done. He looks up, hearing nothing. He slowly stands up, shaking his fur out. He stretches and yawns before finding a circle of leather. He hums softly, putting in on his back. He carefully picks up the book in his jaws and slips the book between his side and the leather stripe. He wiggles, making sure the book won’t fall. When it doesn’t Vortex nods, pleased with himself. He turns and trots off, a single triangular cloth wrapped around his throat.

Vortex walks down a sidewalk silently, still in awe that he finally found his book. He ignores everybody, not in the mood. He looks around, eyes looking around. Time to go him and start reading. He starts to trot, eager to get home and start reading this book that took him so long to get. Vortex’s tails wag almost as a deep hum rumbles in his chest as his trot speeds up into a slow run. His eagerness pooling over as a wide grin pulls at his lips. His ears perk up as he chuckles light. Finally, after twenty years, he found the book he has been searching for so long!

She has a fierce love of power and knowledge, and will go to great lengths to acquire either one. In her studies, Penumbra discovered sorcery, and was immediately successful at it. Penumbra dislikes children, hating the noise and messes they make. Her moods range mostly from serious to adventurous to very dark. The only kind of light-heartedness Penumbra has a fondness for is riddles. Very creative, Penumbra loves playing the cello, due to its dark, rich sound, and she also loves exploring the world in search of knowledge and adventure.
