hmm okay I'm not entirely sure if I like this design, mainly because the colors are so vivid, but it's based of palette #8 like you suggested c:

She has braided hair that can be decorated with flowers/stars/ect.

I hope you like her! Let me know what you think qwq

Let us Begin...

Dawnbreeze10210................ Lavinia Louis Henry.................Vinnie............................MKTO- Classic....

What's in a name...

Lavinia is an old Latin name from an ancient land called Lavinium. In classic mythology, Lavinia was the daughter of King Latinus and she was the wife of the Trojan hero who's name was Aeneas. Aeneas then named the city Lavinium in her honour.
      More can be read here

Louis, a name most commonly given to male individuals. So what's the story here? Lavinia's parent's had two different ideas to name their child. Her father, who had desperatley wanted a male child to name after himself was rather disappointed to have girl as his first born... And no child after that might I add. Her family was old fashioned, enjoying old school traditions, activities, etc. Lavinia's mother adoredclassical tales, whether it be mythology, poems, plays, or novels. That's how her mother came across the name Lavinia, and wished to name her that historical Latin classification. So how did Lavinia's middle name become Louis? You may have guessed, but to settle on her father's will and 'first born son name pass down' tradition, her middle name was influenced and succeeded to become Louis. She isn't ashamed or embarrassed by her middle name essentially being a boy's name (she loves the idea of being able to hold a part of her father's legacy), she commonly tells other's to just call her Lavinia, Vinnie, or Lou -short for Louis- for the sake of sparing herself repeating the same story over and over...

Let's Slow Down...

Lavinia's favourite place to visit is the old school drive in theatre in her town.
She finds a certain fondness for the old fashioned ways and enjoys the way things used to be. Not in a stuffy theatre with seats to close, overpriced snacks, and no room to relax. No, Lavinia craves the crisp fresh air, the room to stretch out, the cheap freshly popped popcorn and classic milkshakes, and watching a movie play on a large screen from the view of the hood or roof of your car. Where the stars are the lights that help you to see where you are, where the same pre-show commercials don't repeat themselves, in fact, there are none. Just the wholseome movie that individuals came to see. The spot that anyone can come to for the price of ten dollars... plus gas money. It's a place that hasn't changed, that decided to be left behind in the rush of technology. It's a place where things are still simple and fun, and where Lavinia can put away her thoughts on the fast paced future.

It was dark, there was nothing. Nothing that I could see. Black, empty, and endless. I was searching, but I knew I didn't have to, but none the less... I searched. I couldn't explain why, and even if I could, it would probably make little sense. There was nothing to see, nothing to touch, nothing to pin point a certain something. And yet, I could still feel, I could still smell, I could still taste, and I could still hear. There was something familiar about it all, something that i've experienced more then once, more then a handful of times. A certain feeling of relaxtion coarsed through each limb. The slight tingling sensation running up and down my veins, the blood rushing and pounding in my ears. I could hear it, the soft pumping of my heart working to keep the blood moving, to keep me alive. But beyond the rhythamic lull of the thumping, I heard the happy voices of others. Not so clear that I could understand what they were saying, what words were flowing from their mouth, but none the less, they were there. Voices of different pitches, of different sounds, of different individuals. The dull sound of an engine being cut off, the crumple of dirt and stones being run over and moved aside by the black rubber of a tire. My nose twitched, and the mouth watering aroma of freshly popped popcorn flooded my system. The buttery and salty taste jumping around my tastebuds, and the crisp sound of a crunch between my teeth. I swallowed, but nothing went down. There didn't seem to be a thing wrong about what was going on, even though my sight wasn't available. My muscles felt heavy in the relaxed sort of way, and my mouth was watering from the delicious smell of yummy goodies.
Then there came a sound unlike the others. So different, but so simple, and a hush seemed to cross the crowd, but excitement and anticipation crackled throughout the air.
      One
      beep...
      Two
      beep...
      Three
      beep...
And at the final ending of the last note, the world danced before me. But it wasn't my own, it wasn't my world. The world of animation, of a story of someone else... A story being shared with a little old fashioned flare.

“I guess you can call me "old fashioned". I prefer the book with the pages that you can actually turn. Sure, I may have to lick the tip of my fingers so that the pages don't stick together when I'm enraptured in a story that I can't wait to get to the next page. But nothing beats the sound that an actual, physical book makes when you first crack it open or the smell of new, fresh printed words on the creamy white paper of a page turner.”

Lavinia's style is sort of old-school, vintage, as well as toned down 'hipster'.
She enjoys working flowers into her hairstyle, and finds having the braid in her hair is an excellent way to weave in fresh flowers or to clip in fake ones. She has a certain fondness for floral prints, and can often times be found wearing such pattern. Instead of glamour and run way dresses, Lavinia's closet contains dresses that are like 50's style swing dance dresses, or more lacey, pastel coloured dresses. Her style isn't full blown hipster of today's society, but a mixture of old and new to make an outfit that works surprisingly well. Now and then you may find Lavinia wearing 'hipster-nerd' glasses, but this isn't simply because Lavinia wears them for fashion. She actually does need glasses, especially when reading. Plain t-shirts, flower patterns, bronze coloured jewellery, or something vintage... Whether it's pastel or more bold and darker colours, there's something about Lavinia's style that adds a little back to the future situation.
A glimpse of her wardrobe includes:

Lavinia doesn't let technology greatly influence her life. Yes, she does have the up to date technology, however she isn't obsessed with it and usually only uses it for simple things or important calls. She doesn't constantly check her phone or go on the internet several times a day, and that's something that is just fine for Vinnie. The girl enjoys the simple things in life and won't hesitate in choosing a paper back book to read of an electronic version. Her parent's influence over her was to be old fashioned. To write out notes for school, to call instead of text to hear the other individual's voice, and to limit her use of electronics. Something about Lavinia is that she enjoys how things were in the past, and would adore just a day to live in the past. Diner dates, old style courting of a girl or taking a girl on dates, was just so romantic and genuine. It does upset her that a good morning text or a 'woman crush wednesday' post is considered a very romantic gesture. You could say that Lavinia likes to be a classic, and likes the phrase "oldies but goodies."

It'd happen to me one day, I'm not sure when, but it will. There are still boy's out there I know are like this. I'm such a sucker for the old school ways. A good morning text? A woman crush Wednesday? He texts you while video gaming? Oh please. While this may be the ideal for some girls' these days, I'm not easily swooned like that. Are they high standards? To some they might be, but they are most definitely possible. That gentleman flare, that look of joy in their eyes, the small gestures that make it all the while. He'll hold the door open for me, understand when I'm upset and just need a hug. He won't just ask me "I don't care, what do you want to do?" He will tell me what time he'll pick me up, and know just where he wants to take me. It's not just what I want to do, and making me do all the effort in order to 'please the both of us'. It's the date he so chose that makes it worthwhile. Where's that old fashion of going out to a diner and sharing a milkshake together? Oh that's adorable, I longed for this.

He needs to be able to make me smile. He needs to be able to make me laugh. He needs to understand when to comfort me. He just needs to remember that being a gentleman is okay too. Can't things go back to the old ways? Where swooning a girl a thing? I wish it'd come back. He'll tell me to call when I get home, to make sure I there safely, and if I were to forget, her call to make sure, because he was worried. We'd know what each other liked, disliked, and loved. He would remember I love going to the drive in theatre. He'd take me there for our date that night. Driving there would be in comfortable silence, where we could just listen to the radio and maybe sing and laugh to our favourite songs. He'd offer to buy me snacks, but of course is refuse... I feel so guilty if he tried buying me things. However, he'd probably do it anyway, smiling all the while. He'd let me snuggle up to him when watching the movie, even if it wasn't a horror film.

The drive home would be wonderful, both of us smiling. I'd take his hand, watching the road as the car passed the dull grey pavement. Once home, he'd walk me to the door and say "goodnight," placing a kiss to my cheek or forehead to be a gentleman, and then with a brief hesitation, her place a soft kiss to my lips to sweeten the night. I'd watch him drive off with a grin on his face before going inside. My dad is still awake, sitting in his chair. He's reading the newspaper or watching the tv, a lamp lighting a small area around him. "How was it, sweetie?" He would ask me. I know he'd be smiling, even though I couldn't see his face... And of course he would try being serious and stern. "Wonderful." I would say back, walking up the stairs to my room. Lying down on my bed and hugging a pillow. I would smile to myself, staring at the ceiling and thinking to myself that I would do that again.
