Tarvalier||Banded Bronze Dun Rose Sabino

Postby CertainNorth » Sun Feb 01, 2015 10:33 am

This mare is the first Tarvalier to judge her own rider and is an open adoptable! She is looking for someone with creativity and a love of the color green. Specifically, she wants you to give her a name that reflects the color green in some way.

If you have read over the breed genetics and would like to fill in the "?"s below, please submit them with your form.(i.e., you want her masking gene to be MM)
Code: Select all
Chosen||(username)
Name||(something related to green)

Chosen||Stumpy STMP
Name||Guerrier Chartreuse "Nyanza"
Gender||Mare
Age||12 years
Height||16.2hh
Coat||Banded Bronze Dun Rose Sabino
Special Genes||W:Ww, B:Bb, G:GG, M:M?, T:tt(green)

This Tarvalier mare exhibits the Ww gene that causes "rose" horses. White and Rose horse can both have markings appear over their white, such as banding. Rose coats look similar to roans, but are very extreme versions. Only red base coats can be rose, similar to how a black base coat is required for a bay horse.

This female has banding; you can tell by the darker stripes in her mane and tail fringe. But because she also has the Masking gene turned on, the banding on her base coat doesn't appear.

Chosen||Stumpy STMP
Name|| Guerrier Chartreuse | Nyanza (some nice shades of green, that also give an exotic name for such a gorgeous gal // 'guerrier' is French for 'warrior' chosen in consideration of the shorter tail befitting a potential war mount)

Special Genes||W:Ww, B:Bb, M:Mm, T:tt
The only gene I've changed is the tinting gene since I was thinking the green tinting would be fitting for her, and my own, love of the colour green, even if covered by the masking, it can always be a part of her.

Chosen|| TheToyMaker :3
Name|| I thought Peridot, a light green gemstone, fitted her well.

If I attempted genetics, I'm sure I'd mess them up.

My favorite color is green xD I'm also super excited for this species!!! Loving them so far, especially Dub!!! :D

Chosen||piaffes in the snow. Please call me piaffe or snowy c:
Name||Deere - I have chosen this name for two reasons. One, because John Deere green is my favorite colour, and two, because I have grown up riding alongside my father in our very own John Deere tractor, ploughing our fields to prepare them for crops, and I very strongly believe farmers are the backbone of just about every country. If you've eaten today, thank a farmer! Farmers feed cities!

hello, bonjour
please call me believe

herro der mes amis, i am believe. proud canadian, ottb loving, colt breaking, nfr dreaming. pictured on the left is my racetrack reject, landofmakebelieve, aka molly, moo, shmoo, whatever name comes to mind x] molly is a 10 year old canadian bred thoroughbred mare, and standing at about 16.2hh, we look a little wonky when we chase cans, but la dee da that's alright. molly and i tried several disciplines. i tried desperately to get her to catch on to dressage, but unfortunately, she still has the race bred mind and is all go. however, together we found a discipline which we could both enjoy; western gaming. this summer we started travelling to barrel races locally. our current record on a standard size pattern is 17.314 and we are improving with every run. and to all the low budget barrel racers out there such as myself, a word of advise; chin up darling. you may not have a million dollar mount under your butt, but you and your crossbred, rejected, hard headed, rescue baby can do it. you know why? cause those girls sitting in their custom circle y's, upon shiny, top of the line mounts are full of themselves. they think there's no way they can lose. they get cocky. stay humble, believe in yourself, in your horse, and most importantly ride your little heart out.

The mare seems to like the idea of being a warrior and prances a bit in delight. She also enjoys the familiarity of French sounds. Congratulations! You have been Chosen.

The rest of you young riders should not be disappointed; the right Tarvalier will find you. It is only a matter of time.
