I'm actually really happy how he came out but
yes

he wears a weird little tied cloth around his neck, we're not exactly sure what it is, but he doesn't seem to go anywhere without it. Naturally, red is associated with energy, war, danger, strength, power, and determination. Ironically since he seems the be the destroyer of peace filled with energy and willpower, it suits him well.

He purposely keeps it tied so that its higher up on his neck. He doesn't like anything by his chest and would prefer it by his head, anyway.
