Other Name;; Most know her as Black Toko but her actual name (or what she claims is her actual name) is Mao (真央 which means "real, true" and "center" in Japanese) (all of this will be explained later in the form)

Personality;;
The best way to describe Toko would be something like this... awkward and nerdy in a sweet-innocent-little-sistery way. She's the kind of girl who (without meaning to) charms her way into other beans hearts very easily. Even if it's just by bumping into someone in the hallway. The way she looks and acts just makes you want to protect her from anything and everything and keep her all to yourself! Toko is very good at persuading others into doing what she wants, though she is not aware of this herself which helps add to her innocent aspect. All of this though, is before her dissociative identity disorder kicks in. When Toko's metaphorical 'switch is flipped' she turns into a completely different bean called Black Toko, or Mao. Mao is sly and sharp-tongued, like a razor with an edge that lets you know that it could cut you down at any second. Mao is rude, sarcastic, and loves to hurt people. She has the kind of personality that drives everyone and everything away from herself. Unlike others with this disorder, Toko and Mao keep the memories of each other and themselves instead of just remembering themselves. This disorder is the reason why it is so hard for Toko to come close to others even if they make the first move. Toko is forced to hide Mao away as deeply as she can in order to not be hated by everyone. Toko struggles with this very much and since she is just a child it makes it even harder for her. Toko's black side (as everyone calls it) seems to be triggered when Toko feels slightly extreme negative emotion such as scared or angry. Toko tries to stay as mild as she can to suppress these emotions.

Humming Bird- Daddy Bird (just Daddy for short)
Bird is the kind of bean that Toko would find annoying and hard to handle if it weren't for the fact that he is her dad. Bird's chill attitude is something Toko finds a little hard to put up with since she is very studious and serious when it comes to work. Toko is always pushing him to get his work done and stop procrastinating by reminding him that he is a father and needs to work for his family's sake as well as his own. Toko loves him deeply so she worries for him all of the time. To Toko he seems like the kind of person that everyone would worry about, even if it is unnecessary.

Myles- Papa
Toko has a very close relationship with her Papa. She took after him in the "nerdy and awkward" part of her personality. Toko very much enjoys talking and playing with her Papa so this has influenced part of her. When Myles dotes on Toko she loves it and feels like she is in a very happy family that loves her. Myles helps Toko cope with Mao by not being so extravagant as to accidentally bring out negative emotions in her. Toko looks at Papa as her role model, she wants to be just like him and have a wonderful family when she grows up.

Souda- Nii-san
Toko could listen to her brother solve problems for hours. Toko loves listening to the different ways that just one thing could be fixed. Souda's skill in engineering is fascinating to Toko. Though Toko does not just like listening to Souda talk, she loves watching him build things and problem solve. Even though Souda is the sibling farthest away from her in age Toko loves to spend most of her extra time with him.

Mondo- Onii-san
Toko doesn't get along with Mondo very well... mainly because of Mao. When Mondo goes all pessimistic and down on himself Toko gets thoroughly annoyed because she knows he can do better. With this sort of negative thinking it brings out Mao and she teases him about it and loves to make him feel even more bad about himself. This affects the relationship that Toko and Mondo could have because Toko is still Mao and Mao is still Toko. Even though Mondo gets on her nerves from time to time it's not like she dislikes him or anything. Toko would gladly have a better relationship with him if she could but Mao makes that very hard.

Aoi- Nee-chan
Toko loves her sister. Aoi is the perfect "big sister" for Toko. Being the only other girl in the family besides herself means that she depends on Aoi's advice very greatly. Toko looks up to her and strives to be "motherly" for others because of her influence, though it doesn't turn out so well most of the time. Honestly their relationship is very basic, coming down to reliable big sister and slightly insecure little sister who everybody dotes on.

Chihiro- Chi-chan (or just Chi)
Toko doesn't say this out loud but Chihiro is probably her favorite sibling out of all of them. Though Chihiro is pessimistic like Mondo Toko tries to not let it get on her nerves and instead tries to help him get over it. Toko knows that it is hard for Chihiro to handle Mao so she tries her hardest to always stay positive around him no matter what. Toko loves how Chihiro tries his best even if he isn't very good at it. Also, the fact that Chihiro doesn't hide the girly side of himself to the point where no one knows about it is something that Toko admires greatly. As the sibling closest to her age Toko finds it easiest to talk with him. Toko strives to make sure that Chihiro is not left behind because she wouldn't want to be left behind either. When the family is together and Chihro is alone Toko will go and coax Chihiro into coming with her to the conversation.

When it comes to Mao's relationship with her family, lets just say that she very much dislikes all of them. Except for Mondo and sometimes Chihiro, whom she loves to pick on and tease.

Outward Appearance;; Toko is a "regular sized bean" for her age. Her tail is slightly shorter than other's tails but not enough to notice without comparing. Toko is fit for her age since she strives for a healthy body and lifestyle. Her fur is medium length, thick, and silky to the touch. Well-groomed fur is one of Toko's personal achievements.

Dream Job & Ambitions;; Toko would do anything to become a famous author. She loves writing almost more than breathing and has the skills to enforce this dream. Toko wants to make a difference with her life, she wants to inspire others to find a future no matter what the hurdle. Though Toko's hurdle is very great she dreams of someday finding a way over it and having a wonderful life in the future.
