Igne has always been a very creative, curious pseudo. When she was very little she would constantly sneak away from her den when her mother wasn't looking, and thus walk around for a while just to explore the forest and its fascinating little details. Even nowadays, living alone in her own cozy den, she continues this habit, exploring every corner of that place with her big blue eyes at least once a day. That's not all, however... for besides having this passion for exploring, Igne has always loved to register her findings.
Using substances from various materials daily collected from the woods, such as seeds, flowers and fruits, the little pseudo manages to produce paint of all colors and later stock it in nutshells inside her den. With this, every time she returns home from a long stride through the forest, she grabs her paint supply and climbs up one of the uncountable huge trees surrounding that place. Once the perfect spot on the rough bark has been chosen, Igne dives her paws into the little paint bowls and starts painting the most remarkable moment of her exploration on the tree.
Many would find that weird... but Igne is too busy focusing on registering such remarkable moment to care. It can be anything... from the scene of a bird bravely fighting a viscious snake off her nest to something as trivial as the very first coppery autumn leaf falling on the ground. To Igne every little detail can be fascinating, and she makes sure to leave this registrated in the history of that forest somehow, also in the open for everybody to see.
And it's due to this peculiar habit of hers that all the trees surrounding her den are covered with colorful little pieces of art.
Her painting skills and colorful scales often also attract the attention of younger pseudos, resulting in Igne being buried under piles of giggling, squirming kids nearly every day. The children simply love her... and Igne loves them back just as much! She really enjoys the younger company for she has always believed kids to have a sharper eye for details and colors in the nature, things the adults are just too distract to bother doing a double take.
With this, it's much more common to see her interacting and walking with children than adult pseudos. It doesn't help that when a pseudo approaches her, they are usually male and simply attempt to flirt... her colorful body does grab attention, after all.
And such approaches will only be answered with either powerful sarcasm or a painful tail whip for the male, for Igne can't stand this sort of attention. She has always had a rather tomboyish nature and won't step back if a male gets too close for comfort. You could even say Igne is the lone wolf type of pseudo... she simply is not interested on the idea of having a mate on her tail. To her it would only slow her down in her little adventures as well as interfering with her art.
Notes:
Given how I only work with feral pseudos, making Igne a journalist wasn't a possibility. However, this inspired me to create her passion for painting. Igne loves the idea of registering the most remarkable moments of her little adventures through art, as well as doing so in the open so everybody can see the painting and get to see what she witnessed that day, learning a bit of its story. In a way, that's exactly what a journalist does. ^^
