(short Christmas story with me and Yuki)
The morning was crisp and cold - snow fell from the sky at a fast pace while I waddled my way to the barn. The snow was already getting past my ankles and walking proved to be challenge in all the white fluff, especially with all the layers I was wearing, I never do well with really cold weather. "Give me a second Yuki - I'm coming," I said with sigh while carrying a bucket of feed in one hand and her grooming kit in another. I could hear her giving me her 'good morning' neighs in the barn, and she does almost every morning. She knew I was coming with her breakfast and she was getting impatient with my pace. But what Yuki didn't know was that I had something special for her today - carrots and peppermints to go with her breakfast, her most favorite of treats! It was Christmas eve that day and I wanted to give her a early Christmas present. Tomorrow I was planning to give her a new hay net but I had the feeling she would like these presents better. I began to hum the jingle bells tune while knocking off the snow on my boots as I entered into the barn. It was quite nice feeling inside and I could see Yuki with her head out of the barn door begging for a nose pet and her food. I put down her grooming kit and feed bucket before giving her a good morning pet and kiss on the nose. "Sleep well, Yuki? Turned out cold today but I know how much you like rolling in fresh snow."

After she ate her breakfast and was groomed I gave her her treats and lead her out to the paddock. She enjoyed the peppermints a lot more then her carrots, and kept nuzzling my pockets for more ever couple minutes. I might have been cold at the time but she was one horse that seemed to love any and all snowfall. The blanket she had on helped her keep warm and I wasn't worried too much about her catching a chill. "Okay Yuki..." I said with a chuckle after I closed the fence gate - she was busy trying to find more peppermints in my pockets yet again. "Go have fun in the snow." With that, I unhooked the lead to let her run. Yuki stayed with me for another minute or so enjoying some chin scratches before walking on her way to the nearest snow pile. She quickly started to nose at the snow, paw and dig in it, and as I was heading back to the barn I noticed that Yuki was rolling all around in the snow. By the time she got up, she was covered in white. I knew that thing Christmas turned out to be a great one for her.

What is your favorite Christmas gift you got and why?

Kinda hard to choose, this year was very much considered a small Christmas when it came to family visits, funds, and everything. But I think my favorite gift I got this year was a game my brother gave me. This game was Skyrim Legendary edition! I had been stairing at that game for months on steam but I couldn't afford it, and I didn't even know if my computer could run it. But this Christmas I found out that my brother gifted me the game and it runs great, it's my new favorite game and I never imagined my brother ever giving me anything like that! I never told him what I wanted for Christmas but he knew the perfect thing to give me. c:

What makes this SLH special to you?

If I am lucky enough to win this horse, it will be (not only a custom) but my first Silver Legacy Horse! her being my first makes it very special to me, and I would spoil her rotten and use her to get my drawing skills better with horses. Because I don't have any other Silver Legacy Horses, she would be the only one I would very much focus on shows if we ever have any in the future. She would be my special little horse that I would love to death.

What is your favorite Christmas gift you got and why?:my favorite gift was a gift my brother got me. it was alpha sapphire, the new pokemon game. this is because one, my brother never got anyone anything. and two, i absolutely love pokemon.
What makes this SLH special to you?:it is special because i have always wanted a horse like that. horses are awesome and i would love to have one. but if not, i can settle for a vertual one.

What is your favorite Christmas gift you got and why? I think my favorite gift is an ornament my grandmother in Florida sent me. Its made out of metal and is a horse standing on a heart with a red ribbon to loop onto a branch. I now hang it up in my window .
What makes this SLH special to you? If I'm lucky, this is going to be my first Silver Legacy horse! Since he might be the first I ever own, I plan to make him my mascot for the stables. This means he will also get all the awsome art, stories, and love he deserves.
