Height: 15.0 hands

Personality: Vlad comes off as dark and brooding, which to be honest he kind of his. His nature gives off an impression of the calm before the storm. However there is no storm to follow the calm. Though a bit of a loner, Vlad is actually rather gentle. Not at all like the man he is named after. Vlad however, can be a bit difficult to ride. He carries a bit of a rebellious streak in him that often rears it's ugly head at the most inopportune times, and would be much more suited for a more experienced rider. Though not particularly mean he does find it difficult to make friends at times, and only forms deep connections with certain individuals. Mainly humans instead of horses. He's always enjoyed the company of humans better than he has his own kind.

Describe where he was born: When a pregnant mare who no one knew was in foal was placed on the wrong boat in the port for transportation, little unborn Vlad was dropped off in Spain. And after a long and eventful trip across Europe, was born in the place that gave him his name; Transylvania. This issue of shipping the mare all the way across the world could have been an issue easily fixed, if not for a man with a love for horses, an empty pocket, and nothing to lose who had been prowling the docks that day. Apostol was quick to grab Vlad's flashy dam and a truck and trailer, then sped off across Europe back to his small home on a run down farm.
This farm was nestled away in the hills, away from prying eyes as Apostol was a bit of a shut in. However morbid curiosity always drew him to the castle of Vlad the Impaler, which loomed in the distance. Vlad spent many nice, quiet years on this farm with his dam. He always did love the broken, yet cozy barn, and enjoyed the shade of the thick trees on hot days. The pasture fence had been destroyed by termites, and Vlad was plenty capable of being able to jump over it, yet he did not think, or want, to try. He and his dam were the only horses here, because as previously mentioned Apostole had little to no money. However Vlad liked it that way. Apostole's solitariness rubbed off on him.
He has since been seized by his dam's original owners, and now rests comfortably at Manteca Creek. However he longs for the quiet days back in Transylvania.
