W H Y - M E ?

I was searching through the Adoptable Oekaki page and fell in love with this girl. To be perfectly honest, the reason i was looking through the Adoptable Oekaki page was because i am looking for a new character, one to get me back into drawing. I havent been drawing lately at all, mostly for lack of things, subjects to draw. I havent had a muse in a long time, and i want her to be my muse. I also love the wintertime, and her design reminds me of ice, or a snowflake.

A R T / S T O R Y

"Freydis!" I smiled, filled with delight,

my Cape Tailed Dragon bounded into my sight.
I reached out my arms, and she ran into them,
and then tugged at my sweater, pulled at its hem.
"What's up with you?" I asked as she tugged,
her tail laying flat behind her like a rug.
I followed her into the snow and she sat,
dug her paws in the snow, and as if that was that,
I saw what she did, she shoved with her toes,
till we had one big snowball, as tall as her nose.
A just smaller orb of the fluffy white stuff,
I lifted it onto the first with a huff.
And on top of that came his big round head,
and off to my warm winter cabin she fled.
Out Freydis appeared, with old cap in her teeth ,

and a tattered gray scarf i had hung by my wreath.

I smiled and placed the cap on his top,
then the scarf 'round his neck, and around him she hopped.
"There's still something missing," I tapped on my chin,
then reached into my pocket and pulled from within,
three small buttons and a long, used piece of string.
I could hear Shiver's song, "Jingle Bells" he would sing.
The purple and orange ones became each an eye,
as the black one his nose, and the string a great smile,
Freydis brought me two twigs, very scrawny and bent,
and I patted her head, and onto him they went,
so they looked like he hugged himself tight in the cold,
"Oh how fitting with scarf and cap tattered and old"
I grinned a smile that couldn't be any bigger,
and told her, "I know! We just must call him Shiver!"
With that, Freydis returned to her cave in the snow,

and my Iceland home welcomed me, fire burning low.

And that is how me and my fluffy best friend,
in the cold of December, just nearing its end,
created a snowman so freezing and cold,
that he covered himself with things tattered and old.

Why you want this CTD: I saw this species because of the artist completion and fell in love with them instantly, this boy is absolutely amazing and while I normally prefer natural designs I knew I had to apply for him. He reminds me of a frost giant, hence the name.
