What's so Special about her:She is the Guardian of Reefs and makes sure everything is ok in the reefs.
Short Story:Once,Krystal was black and gray. One day,she went up to the surface. A storm was just fading and the was starting to come out. She had never seen the sunlight,for she lived at the bottom of the sea. A rainbow appeared and it began to make her glow. The black and grey faded and she turned white with many colors all over her. Krystal then decided she could do something good in her life for once,and swam down to all the reefs,spreading the news.

What's so Special about her:when she hatched from an egg, she was blue but as she grew she aquired her current coloring.
Short Story: when her owner found her on a beach they took the egg home. when she hatched she was given a necklace that connects her to the owner. when she grew to large, she was let free but she really still belonged to her owner. so every day at 2:00 the owner comes and plays with snow the rest of the day until 8:00. until then snow will hide in the local reef, which happens to be the great barrier reef.

What's so Special about her: She's quite large for a GOS. Not as big as the largest ever recorded but still she's up in the top 5.
Short Story: Althea has always been the color that she is. There was no sudden magic change from dark to light, she was born white as snow.

Althea rolled in place as the storm sent the sea roiling and frothing. She quite enjoyed being buffeted about as it was always so different to just bobbing along.

What's so Special about her: Her sense of protection. This lady is very, very protective. She will rescue drowning sailors and takes the lives of others very seriously.
Short Story: I watched my friends flounder in the water, our ship had sprung a leak about 50 miles from shore and sank. I was the only one to make it to the rubber lifeboat and half of us couldn't swim. Suddenly I see a delicate, horselike head poke from the waves near one of my buddies and he grabs it in a half-stupor. This mysterious being swam him over to the boat so I could haul him in. She repeated this process with my three other friends and then grabbed a rope to begin dragging us to shore. We watched in amazement as she left us in the harbor and dove, pastel colors vanishing into the depths. We haven't seen her since.
