Describe her first trail ride:
Having been tied to a strict showing and training schedule all her life, Jazz was delighted to be brought to Fairbanks. Three days after her arrival, she was worked lightly to see how she was settling in. This was a fun session for both her and her rider, Dr Pollard, who had never ridden Western before. The training went very well, with both horse and rider learning all sorts of new things. As a reward for her good work, it was decided she could be taken out for a walk in the sparse woods bordering the property. Assuming that Jazz was just like all the other stereotypical Western horses on trails, Pollard had no worries for their little outing.

How wrong he was.

Every little thing set her off. Half-stepping and tense, with her head in the sky, the little grey seemed to be searching for things to spook at. All poor Pollard could to do was to cling on to the horn of the big Western saddle, praying he didn't drop off as Jazz danced around like a wild mustang. Eventually, she settled down a little, and became easier to handle. Upon nearing home, one of Fairbanks's stallions decided to call out to the approaching mare. All of her calm flew out the window, and Pollard and Jazz reached their destination at a disorderly gallop very fast lope.

Despite the crazy ride, Jazz's first trail is still brought up and joked about. The staff at Fairbanks certainly had a couple of good laughs when a wobbly Pollard walked in leading in his new mare, perfectly relaxed and with a smug look on her face.

End Date: November 2nd.

Show Name: Jasper Jubilee ( Could change, I can't find a good name for her)
Barn Name: Jubilee
Gender: Mare
Breed: Mustang
Height: 15.0 hands
Age: 11 years
Color: Dapple Gray Overo (Black Base)
Markings: Wide blaze, pastern, sock, stocking, overo markings
Genes: E/E, a/a, G/G, O/o
Personality: Jubilee is a happy go lucky and fun filled mare. Her party all the time attitude is somewhat bothersome to her riders. Lets walk no jog! Okay lets jog....nope lets lope! Ughhhhh okay lope it is....naaahhhh gallop! Jubilee just wants to go fast all the time, meaning she really needs to be reined in at shows so she performs gaits nice and slow. She is generally very brave unless faced with her worst fear, turtles.
Green Jasper Photo: http://www.skullis.com/ProductImage/410 ... ull-05.jpg ( So cool!)
Describe her first trail ride:
Jubilee had always been a spunky mare, but she was bombproof. Nothing scared the brave little mare. So at 4 years old they decided to take Jubilee out on the trails. Little did they know that the most menacing, terrifying and horrible creature awaited them.....A Turtle! They ride had gone well so far, Jubilee as usual was trying to go fast but didn't seem scared by the woods. They were leaving the woods and were going toward a bridge that crossed a stream, when it all went bad. Jubilee looked down and low and behold there was a turtle. Now nothing had ever terrified Jubilee other than this turtle. It was a rock! But it was moving, but it shouldn't be moving! It was just to confusing and scary for Jubilee, she bucked and took off, her riding flying into the stream. The humans couldn't find Jubilee for hours and were starting to get worried when they heard whinnies of distress. They found her trapped further down stream, her legs stuck in the mud and her bridal twisted around a tree. All around her, watching from logs, rocks and the shore were turtles. Jubilee's eyes were wide with fear as she fought and fought to escape, the turtles were going to get her! The humans couldn't find a way to get her out, she was just too stuck. Eventually someone ran back to the barn and fetched the truck. A strap was wrapped around Jubilee's wast by a brave womyn who waded in with the thrashing mare. The reins had to be cut and then Jubilee was pulled from the muck. She was in shock for awhile but otherwise unharmed. After some warm mash with a nice blanket on she was warmed up and relaxed. Eventually she got over her fear of trail riding but her fear toward turtles remains and she is always watching for them.

    Barn Name: Jas
    Gender: Mare
    Breed: Missouri Fox Trotter
    Height: 15.0 hands
    Age: 11 years
Color: Dapple Gray Overo (Black Base)
Markings: Wide blaze, pastern, sock, stocking, overo markings
    Genes: E/E, a/a, G/G, O/o
Personality: Jas is a strong spirit with a constant calm that can be both comforting and aggravating. Prepared but not ancy, Jas is often seen as leader-like. She finds little comfort in chaos and peace of mind in order. The mare never raises her voice, never allows anger seep through her shell. Although expressive and voiced, Jas is not overdramatic nor easily angered. She is reasonable and has a good hold on life. Jas keeps an open mind, despite her own opinions. She realizes she isn't always correct and keeps her ego in check. Jas is an observative individual and has a sharp mind and sharp eyes. She distances himself from gossips and rumors, ignoring sharp words that stab, brushing them off like dirt. Jas is strong and fair-minded. A very brilliant creature.
Green Jasper Photo: xxx(the rough form)
Describe her first trail ride: While everyone would love a story of Jas' wild and perilous journey, her first trail ride was not like that. It had a dash of adventure, but nothing wild. It all began on a warm, breezy spring day...
    - - -

Jas paced in her stall as her rider tacked her up. A quite young mare at the time, she didn't know what to think. She was tacked up briskly and placed in the trailer. A short twenty minutes later, Jas stood at the edge of a shady, small forest trail. Her owner clicked her onward.

The beginning of the ride was nothing short of lovely. It was quiet and Jas appeared very occupied with her surroundings. She pranced further into the woods.

Farther along the trail, Jas and her rider came upon a pool of sticky, deep mud. Before her rider could stop her, the mare took a large step and her hoof plunged into the mud. Each time she lifted up a hoof with great effort, the mud clung to her leg and the soupy pool made an awful sucking noise. Jas felt she had made a mistake. All at once, a loud, unseen noise sounded at Jas' right. That sure motivated her. She flung hersef forward with all her might, jerking her rider and spraying mud everywhere.

By the time her rider finally calmed her down, they were deep into the woods and drenched with mud. Exhausted and exasperated, the pair swung around, homeward. Jas' rider avoided the mud pond and cut paths to find the clearing where they began. After untacking, Jas was placed in the trailer again, while her rider imagined the hours ahead of her, spent scrubbing the mud off of Jas.
    - - -

Alright, so there was a little bit of excitement. Nothing big, though. Just a little bit of fun in the mud.

    Gender: Mare
Breed: Morgan x American Paint Horse x Blazer Horse
    Height: 15.0 hands
    Age: 11 years
Color: Dapple Gray Overo (Black Base)
Markings: Wide blaze, pastern, sock, stocking, overo markings
    Genes: E/E, a/a, G/G, O/o
Personality: Strike is a pretty calm mare, but not after some work. A wild, aggressive, and skittish mare before, she is now a pretty calm and obedient mare. She still gets a little nervous at times, and is even known for bolting. She doesn't do good in dark areas, and has to have a light outside her stall door at all times. She can't be in the pasture after sunset or else she will freak out and become a hassle to bring back into the stables. It's unknown what causes this, as her previous owners got her later on in her life and not even the people they bought her from had any history on her. She experienced something bad in a dark place when she was young, and that's all anyone can figure out. Otherwise she's rather affectionate, and even prefers the company of humans over other horses at times.
    Green Jasper Photo: x
Describe her first trail ride: Strike's first trail ride didn't quite go as planned. They decided to ride her into the thick forests outside Manteca Creek, which given her previously mentioned vice you could see the problem. The poor girl tried to keep going, but it just got to be too much. A bird flew out of the brush nearby, and she went berserk. Throwing her rider and running as fast as she could. They eventually found her outside of the forest, in the chaparral beyond it, perfectly content.

Describe her first trail ride: Gypsy was leading a lesson group, it was a beautiful day, her rider was confident; what could go wrong? Everything, so it seemed. There had been very heavy rain for the past few days, and one of the bridges they planned to cross was covered in water. As they stood at the banks of the river, contemplating what to do, something spooked one of the horses in the back. He reared, trumpeting an alarm call and throwing his rider. It caused a chain reaction. First, most of the horses...

    Genes: E/E, a/a, G/G, O/o

    Personality:
Evelyn is a very calm and untroubled mare, she was bred for show purposes so she is expected to achieve great things in life such as medals and rosettes. She is very curious and slightly stubborn. She loves to try new things and always likes to do things her own way, she can be very independant and often works best when its just her and her owner. But she often gets slightly nervous when there are stallions about because she's afraid they will hurt her since her father wasn't the nicest of father's but her owner, Pheobe, is working on that with the help of her stallion Dallas

    Green Jasper Photo: Here
Describe her first trail ride: Evelyn's first trail ride didn't go exactly as she had planned, In fact it went even better than Evelyn and her owner, Pheobe, had expected.

They had originally planned to take it nice and slow down to the creek then quicken up the pace along the creek then slow back down again while going back up through the woods and back into the stable yard.

But when they made their way down to the creek they saw a load of logs from where the lumberjacks had been cutting down trees and they were blocking the path. There was no way Of getting around the logs either and Evelyn hadn't practice's Jumping before so they couldn't jump over the logs.

Pheobe wanted to turn back and just quit on the trail but Evelyn had other ideas. She whinnied and inatantky pheobe knew what she was about to do as Evelyn backed up slightly. She held on tight to the reign as Evelyn Flew over the logs ans landed to ground with a Thud.

Pheobe patted Evelyns neck proudly and continued with the trail along the creek and thought the woods back to the stable yard.

Pheobe was so proud of Evelyn and she knew that they were such a good pair together and their first trail ride was a huge success

Ugh ._. I'm so sorry for the extremely bad story I am TERRIBLE at writing
