You may call it his "imaginary friend", but it's more than imaginary. It's real. These creatures are spirits of dreams. They are guardians who watch over children at night, fighting nightmares and the children's fears so that they may sleep peacefully. In fact, these creatures feed off of it. If a child is scared of the dark, the Musoka will light up the night with it's dim lighted orbs and absorb in the scary darkness. These creatures are only seen by the children, and not their parents or other adults. That is why the adults may say: "Oh, she's just talking to her imaginary friend again". The Musoka will usually stay with one child until they grow up, then the creature will fade from sight from that person and will move on to another child.

The bandages are orange, because red would be too bloody. Now, I seriously hope that this is within the amount of gore allowed. I mean, there's no dripping blood or any actual open wounds...not to mention that the of shoulder muscle.

Please note that I will probably make only 1 halloween musoka due to rl and...other issues.

How did his wing become a sickle? (short story/poem or some kind of narrative thing)
Kari's wing became a sickle when he abandoned his job of protecting the children form their nightmares, instead he let them fester and hover and took delight in watching the child squirm with fright as their horrors unfolded before them. Instead of chasing them away, he welcomed them in and even led nightmares right to the children. This went on for years and years until one day he became so corrupted with the desire to feed off of nightmares, and watch them grow, that his wing became ugly and disfigured until eventually it turned into the sickle he has now, heavy and uncomfortable, forcing him to wander forever with his burden, regretting what he's done.

Musoka Name: Taff
Gender: Female

How did his her wing become a sickle?
Caring and motherly, Taff does her best to take care of those who need it most. Those children tend to be very disturbed. While other musokas find their way to sweet, innocent children, Taff tries to find whoever needs help. She teaches them how to forget about home as best as she can. Although prone to white lies, she typically keeps a sweet demeanor. Aiding the troubled has taking it's toll on Taff. She grows weak as she fights away the things that terrorize her human friend. When one of the children informed her that his best friend had passed, she tried to comfort him by telling him that the grim reaper wasn't so scary. The teen hardly even believed in her any more. Realizing she would have to go to extreme measures, she sacrificed her wing for a sickle. She told him that she was an aid of the reaper's and guaranteed his friend was alright. Though she doesn't regret her decision, she does constantly think of how she could have made things better for him.
