Story: I pawed at the ground as I was getting restless, waiting for the pressure of my riders leg. I snorted, the cold in the air making it look like smoke spilling out of a dragons nose. Then it finally came the pressure in my side as I was told to be free. I lurched forward and dug my hooves into the soft dirt on the track, feeling the wind through my mine. My mind was filled with one thing; getting to the finish line. Even though I was the only horse on the track that one idea meant the world to me. I heard the thudding of my hooves hitting the ground and I felt like I was the only horse in the world, I felt free. I was rounding the last corner when my whole world came crashing down, I felt my hooves leaving the ground and my whole body falling over. I had lost my footing and my rider and I came falling down in a painful pile. I laid there feeling broken. I stood up and looked to see my rider on the ground, her leg broken in what looked like two pieces. I had felt terrible and as I tried walking closer to her I felt this awful pain in my hind leg that is when I knew it was over I would never race again.

Luckily the pastures were immense and the water did not reach any of the horses and cattle. The owners ended up selling her to a local farm and that is how she got to Sofia, her current owner.
