Though initially employed in the Decepticon cause, Proximity quickly found it unrewarding. A proud cybertroinan, he always knew he was above many of those he worked with. His superiors always attempted to 'put him in his place' (The humanoid cybertroinans considering themselves greater than their quadrupedal brothers.), however, Proximity would simply buck the system. Often addicted to a brand of energon similar to alcohol, he'd often raided the stores of the Decepticons. Eventually, Proximity had had enough. He left the Decepticon cause and now works for whomever can pay him for his troubles in his favourite type of energon. (Ironically, this is usually the Decepticons.)
