So I got permission from Char to put Tally up for re-adopt quite a while ago, but I didn't get the chance to put something out there. I'm sorry in advance for the lack of a new thread, but my Java's buggy and I can't get another one on here.
But Tally is going up for a re-adopt. I tried to connect to him, I really did, but I got so busy and just had no idea how to build onto his given personality, so I've decided to hand him over to someone that will definitely take care of this adorable featherbutt. <:
This contest will be a 24-hour Impress Me. I want to see just how much you guys want him and will take care of him. Everything goes here; add as much art and text as you want. I'm looking for creativity and unique character development. Please don't add fillers (likes & dislikes) or walls of text, just get to the point. I don't mind if you revamp his affectionate nervous wreck persona, but be realistic (i.e., serial killer).
The winner will be granted all his art and any item references of his.
This will end at noon tomorrow CST (1:00 EST).

Tally is shy when you first meet him. When you get to know him, he is a giant goof. He does things just because he can. He is charming and kind. He loves to explore too. He asks a lot of questions, and won't stop prodding and poking until he gets a answer. Tally is a giant show-off, too. Sometimes, it's kind of awesome. Tally is brave and isn't one to stand back and watch. Instead, he jumps in even if his help isn't needed. He is also very intellegent.

Tally likes to be outside. Sometimes, Tally gets a bunch of flowers and throws them all over the place. He loves pastry.

Ages ago i made art for this little darling, when he was owned by Tricksters. Believe you me, he was a wonderful Plumie to draw and I really enjoyed it.
Hope he goes to an awesome home <3

Username: Groenii
Name: Tally Adrian
Gender: male
Age: 20
Sexuality: pansexual

Tally is a very sweet and gentle guy. He is also very shy and self-conscious. So self-conscious in fact, that he finds it hard to look others in the eye because that makes him think others are forming opinions of him, and he tends to think those opinions are negative. Tally loves children. Their sweet and innocent nature, oblivious of adult life and responsibilities, calms him and enables him to show his more confident side. Children can be harsh to their own, but small children do not yet care about adult problems and the like. Since Tally tends to worry a lot, their presence helps him take his mind of those responsibilities, if even for a while.
He is also very diligent and hates letting others down more than anything. Unfortunately, when he is tired or stressed, he becomes moody and cranky. In this state, he tends to snap at others, and he always regrets this afterwards. He can also get jealous of others fast. He doesn't really like this part of himself either, but he just can't help feeling sour over other plumes. He is especially jealous of plumies who are very confident and do whatever they want. Tally is too shy to, for example, ask someone out on a date, but he knows if he never tries he'll never get anywhere. He's trying to work on those insecurities, and he's getting there slowly but surely, but he still has a ways to go. Until then he'll watch from the sidelines, learning from others until it is his time to shine.

Tally works at a daycare. The daycare has ages from four year old till twelve year old so there are a variety of children around. Tally likes working with the youngest children the best because he can still read them stories before nap time, which the older children do not do anymore. The daycare has many fairytale books to pick stories from, and Tally is surprisingly a skilled storyteller. He can even get the older children to listen with tales that they would normally think are childish, because he really draws them into the story. As of late, there have been a few issues at the daycare. The influx of new children has been larger than expected and the daycare staff have more on their hands than they can actually handle. Although Tally loves those little squirts a lot, if he cannot take a breather, it will be too much for him to handle. This amount of work is new to him and even though he is resourceful he finds it difficult to cope, but he can adapt quickly, and has already learnt how to accelerate. As long as there will be parents in need of a daycare, Tally will probably work there for his entire life.

Twenty years ago, Tally was born to two loving parents in a small city. They had had trouble conceiving so when their little one came they were overjoyed. Tally was spoiled a bit and his parents sheltered him a bit too much from the outside world. Therefore, the shy guy was a little more ignorant of the world. Other children teased him with this. It was not bullying, but it still made Tally very self-conscious and he withdrew himself in a figurative shell. Because he felt lonely and he wanted to play with someone he wanted to have a sibling. When it was Christmas he wrote a long letter to Santa asking for a baby brother or sister to care for. Unfortunately, Santa was unable to fulfil this wish and Tally remained an only child. He did not remain lonely himself, because he managed to make friends over time, but his longing for a sibling stayed. He used to get jealous of plumes with sibling, and still does now sometimes.
His biggest pet peeve is when someone with a sibling says they wish they were an only child, as Tally knows all too well what that is like. Over the years he learned to live with this better, especially when his cat Ramone came in his life. Ramone is a typical lazy tom cat (male), who has a huge love for food and hugs, two things Tally can happily provide. When the time came to graduate high school and go on with his life, Tally decided that he was going to follow his dream and work with children. He had always been an average student with an average dislike of educational institutions, but learning about children and being an intern at a daycare? Amazing! From the student who did not want to lounge around in a school unnecessarily he became one who didn't want to leave. Especially not since the day he would have to start applying for a job came nearer. Applying for a job meant interviews, and interviews meant that he would have to sit in a room in a suit and answer questions. That moment scared him more than anything, especially since he knew he would be nervous and mess up all the answers. Luckily for him, his boss was very relaxed and he got in without much trouble. He moved out of his parents' house a few months later and he has since been trying out new things to find out what he likes and dislikes, and how he could make his life more fulfilling.

(I have permission from Meowien and Spencer to use their plumies, if you guys disagree with anything I post, I'm very sorry, please pm me in that case. I hope I can do this right.)
First off are his parents. Being an only child, Tally got his parents' undivided attention. They tried their best not to spoil him, and in this they have succeeded. However, they were rather protective of their boy and Tally's freedom was a bit too restricted sometimes. Nevertheless he gets along with his parents very well and he can always be found there whenever chili con carne is on the menu.
The children of the daycare form the second group he has ties with. These children all have different personalities, and he naturally gets along better with some than with others, but he cares about all of them. He is friendly with the children but maintains a professional atmosphere at all times. He IS in charge there, after all. The children will not benefit if he is weak and lets them run over him, but he tries his best to find a balanced midst in between the two.
Another being in his life is his prized cat Ramone. Ramone is a grey, nine-year-old lazy tomcat. He is a very good-natured cat, until someone endangers his eternal love, food. Tally loves this little guy to death, hugging him every time he can while repressing his urges to spoil his furry friend too much. Ramone is his partner and Tally would be devastated if something happened to him.
Reese and Tally have a purely business-like relationship. Her cold personality intimidates Tally quite a bit. She brought her adoptive daughter Amore to the daycare a few times. Although they do speak about Amore at those occasions, it is more to ask how the gal is doing than the friendly chit-chat that Tally has with some of the other parents. He does not really mind, and neither of them seem to want to change this anytime soon.
On another note, he has a strange kind of connection with Monica Both of them are shy and get nervous easily. They also both like reading and can be on their own to enjoy some peace and quiet. However, it is because they are both shy and nervous that they are not capable of getting along as well as they could, since both do not like to initiate conversation. Maybe things will progress in the future, maybe not, only time will tell.
Tally is good friends with Perth. Again they both share shyness, but Perth's disability makes their relationship a different kind. Tally has been interested in sign language and communicating with deaf creatures for some time, and who can be a better teacher than a deaf teacher? Perth is a language teacher, and has helped Tally learn how to communicate correctly with a deaf person. They also share an interest for other cultures. Although Tally does not share Perth's love for travel, they still have a pretty good time talking about Perth's experiences and the children's antics.

Hibiscus is one of the children that regularly visit the daycare. Hibi has been a regular for quite a few years. She would visit about once a week and Tally learned quite a deal about child management from the bright gal. Sweet as she may be, this girl has a knack for tripping over things, getting stuck in impossible positions and accidentally ingesting things that Tally thought weren't even there. He has learned to keep an extra watchful eye on her, and it has improved his reaction time by a lot. Since Hibi is fourteen, she is a bit too old for the daycare, but she can come to play and have fun anyway. Tally enjoys having her around and will gladly help her out if she tripped over her own feet again, no matter her age.
Eleazar and Tally are pen pals. Tally met Eleazar when Eleazar was travelling around to learn more about cultures and languages. Both of them like making friends and learning to communicate, so they got along well. They live too far apart to meet frequently, so Eleazar and Tally keep each other updated on what goes on in their lives. Eleazar, like Perth, teaches Tally about communicating with deaf plumies. Eleazar can use American sign language, so he can give Tally many useful tips to learn the language. Tally has a folder in his room with all the photo's and letters Eleazar sent him on his travels. He uses this information to pick a nice vacation destination the next time he has some time off. Tally is secretly thinking of asking Eleazar if he can join him the next time Eleazar goes somewhere, but Tally finds travelling a frightening thing, and would prefer to go somewhere close first.
Lorna is another pen pal that Tally writes frequently with. He met Lorna via a pen pal website about a year ago and they have been writing ever since. Since Lorna is French, Tally gets to talk a lot with her about cultural differences. They also talk about psychology and what drives a child. Tally has had no formal psychology education, but his experiences with children still make him somewhat knowledgeable about this. Coupled with their other interests mutual, such as reading Lorna and Tally have ample things to write about.

Tally has several hobbies, some more common than others.
Tally likes to play hide-and-seek with the children. He always fails to win. Partly because he loses on purpose, partly because he is so bad at hiding, even a toddler could find him. A strange green blotch near a curtain, a red shape behind a bush, his bright colours hinder him rather than help him. Still, he loves to hide himself and watch the children look under everything, even a place where he couldn't possibly hide with his size. Often times it is actually his amused snickering that gives him away, leading to a race where he seems to be winning but loses in the end. The same formula always works, and it has lead to funny scenes he will remember for a long time.
Another hobby is storytelling. Tally has a knack for making even a boring story seem interesting, and he loves to put that talent to use. He's famous in the daycare for his exciting stories and the children at the daycare love them. Even the older ones will stick around when he starts. Tally first discovered this talent during the obligatory writing contests at school. The children had to write and tell a story and the best stories would win a prize. Tally was a nervous wreck each time it was his turn to read, but he would calm down as soon as he started and get in the story himself. He's not a bad writer either, and he likes to make stories up to tell the children. Their favourite story is "Teatime at Mrs. Mouse's" a story about a tea party organized by the stiff and well-mannered Mrs. Mouse, and the troubles she encounters during her tea parties.
A third is lounging around in his favourite lazy chair and reading. His lazy chair has such thick cushions in it, that he sinks away in them and falls asleep more often than not. Its also the first place he goes to when he can't find his keys or other items. He once pulled a plate and two books out of there. Its almost as if the chair is a hidden treasure trove from a fairytale.
Tally is also learning sign language. A few months back there was a child that was enrolled in the daycare, but they were deaf and since they could not write yet, it was difficult to understand what the child wanted or needed. Tally takes his job very seriously, he wants to be able to communicate with all children and all parents, so his inability to help the child hit home hard, He asked his friends Perth and Azealar to help him and he has since been practicing and training to learn it.
Last but not least, Tally likes to go out with friends and to go get a drink or some ice cream. He also likes to just talk to them and organize game- or movienights at his home, and just have fun. His favourite boardgame is twister. He finds it hilarious because they always end up in a heap on the ground with limbs stickind out from strange angles. Tally is always the one who loses his balance and fall on top of the others, but that just leads to more laughter, and Tally is well-known for his clumsy movements.

The future is uncertain. Tally can decide to go swimming tomorrow but rain could stop him. That does not mean Tally did not plan anything for the future. This self-conscious guy has decided to realize a dream. And that dream is big. Tally has a book filled with stories he created for the children at the daycare. He wants to publish it. This will not only mean that he'll have to send his work to publishers, he'll also have to talk to experts and receive their criticisms. This is a huge step for Tally, but he has a dream and he will try to use it. "You only live once" Tally would say in answer. "So I have to use my time wisely." This dream is going to be difficult, but Tally can do it, his fuure is bright!
All art is by me.
Thanks for reading!
