Personality: Sholeh has a very dominant and fiery nature. She often chews on her stall to be let out and likes to be at the head of the herd. She can be very headstrong, and needs a firm hand while riding. Sholeh loves to race her heart out and will give 110% to come in first. However, she can be very lazy when she wants to and loves to take dust baths and be groomed for hours (maybe that's why she takes dust baths ). She is a very rambunctious creature and despite her loud and fiery facade, is actually very skittish, having grown up basically wild, so while she does not distrust humans, she doesn't exactly trust them, barely at the point where she tolerates being ridden and she is actually very proud of not "catering to humans." Gaining her trust proves rather difficult, but a certain few, mostly stallions/geldings seem able to tolerate her pride while others find her almost naive. Maybe eventually she'll meet someone kind enough to show her having a rider can be very rewarding, especially when it allows her to challenge other horses in official races.
Back story: Sholeh's original owners were very alarmed at the coat color mutation exhibited on the foal. Her stubborn personality made her difficult to train, requiring more patience than they had. She and a few other horses were often left alone in the back pasture, provided food and water, but very rarely interacted with. They had many people desire to purchase her for her strange coloring, but her aggressiveness and lack of experience around people made her hard to handle and disagreeable, so eventually, the owners gave her to an animal adoption agency.

Personality: She is a passive mare and tends to be rather shy around new comers. Once she gets to know someone though, she opens up and proves to be rather sweet and a little mischievous (she has a habit of licking ears). Mina is known in the herd for her patient and forgiving nature and is often used as a mount for young or disabled children.
Back story: Mina was born onto a ranch that bred show horses. She was trained and showed a few times, but ended up not being the best of the bunch and was sold off to an owner who didn't have much experience in handling horses. The woman wasn't intentionally neglectful or cruel, but didn't know much when it came to proper feeding and care and Mina ended up rather underweight and scraggly looking by the time she was sold yet again, this time ending up at a rescue and rehabilitation facility, where she was brought back to a proper weight, cleaned, and cared for. She was retrained and due to her gentle nature she is now used as a therapy horse for children and young adults with disabilities.
