Day 2- the pasture
Today stardust was released into the pasture to greet the other horses and spend some time getting used to her surroundings. She seemed to thoroughly enjoy herself and was often neighing to other horses and trotting up and down. When it came to me bringing her in, she trotted right over. Cautiously but curiously. When she reached me, she nuzzled me affectionately.
I took her into her stable and gave her a good brush and stroke. Stardust loved it, her bottom lip wavered and her eyes slowly shut. I feel that we are connecting almost too quick. She seems too fond of me and people. almost like she was never wild...
