Name you'll give it: Cumulonimbus (or Nimbus-cloud type "They generally produce thunderstorms, rain or showers, and sometimes strong outflow winds and/or tornados at ground level.")
Gender: Male
Reason you want it: I love the tracker dogs, the idea is so unique ^^ I also love the rain to a tracker dog to preforms the best in rain seems like a good match. His design is so pretty, I love the colours together and I love the fact he gives off some light to show the way to his master. The whole idea just fascinates me in general ^^
Other info: I'm making a character site on Yola, so he'll be stored there with my other characters. (It's not published yet, lotsa work to do) I'll get art of him and seeing as his design is so simple, I might be able to draw him <3 No eyes ftw! ..I hate drawing eyes xD
I've been looking for one I've fallen completely in love ever since Taffy showed us their tracker dog they won at the Zoo. :3 And Nimbus is the one~<3
Might go see if I can whip up a story :3
The officer, his hand still gripped on his gun, clicked his teeth in irritation as the dogs whined and circled in confusion.
“It’s no use; they can’t get a scent with this weather.” He said, turning his face up towards the rain, watching the dark clouds roll across the sky as thunder rumbled and lightning crackled.
Another person -a woman this time- sighed, “We can’t lose this guy!” she paused as a radio crackled into life and a distorted voice came through, the signal ruined by the storm. “The sus-.....body foun-...you must ge-....that’s thre-...”
“You’re breaking up!” the woman barked back, her eyes narrowed in frustration.
“GET THE SUSPECT!” the radio fell silent again; the woman rolled her eyes, “How useful.”
The man shifted around, watching the dogs,
“These dogs aren’t going to be any use, all they’ve shown us is that he came here recently.” He shone his torch into the darkness, trying to find a clue that would help them.
The woman took off her glasses and wiped them clean of rain, putting them back on she looked at the man. “There is one who could help us...” she said, reaching for her radio,
“What?” the man replied, confused.
“That new ‘dog’, the tracker dog.” The woman said, she wasn’t that impressed with the tracker dogs but she knew they were incredibly good at finding the suspects and taking them down long enough for the officers to arrive.
“Ah, Nimbus?” the man said, nodding,
“That’s the one.” The woman said, pressing a button on the radio and said into the microphone.
“Can we bring in dog 4632 please?”
“The tracker dog?” came the reply,
“Yes, Nimbus.”
“On our way.” The radio was dead once more.
“Now we have him.” The woman smirked.
I couldn’t see anything but I knew I was in a cage, I could hear the rumbling of a car around me and my own jagged breath, excited to be let loose and get on with my work. I liked this job, I may not be the most natural thing but I had emotions. I loved the rain, and my design was perfect for tracking and finding suspects in the wet weather. I stayed silent, even though I was impatient. I wish we’d just hurry up and get there already. I heard a crackle of lightning and a rumble shortly after, and then another crackle, much closer... a radio?
“We’re almost there.” I heard, it sounded like the officer called Terry,
“Hurry!” came the curt reply of a woman... Lindsey?
The car came to a sudden halt and I heard doors opening, “Finally!”
Yes, it was definitely Lindsey.
The boot door opened and I knew my release was coming, “Nimbus? You awake buddy?” I gave a snort at Terry’s idiocy and he just chuckled, the cage door opened and I was free.
I took a few stepped forwards, seeing the dark colours of the boot then the muddy colours of the floor, judging it right I jumped down. Feeling the cold wet floor beneath me I ‘looked’ around for Lindsey, watching for her to tell me what I needed to find.

I raced across the field, hot on the suspect’s trail, I knew where he was going but all the colours seemed to blend into together. Dammit, why did he have to wear dark clothes?! I snorted in frustration, trying to ‘taste’ the path he had taken.
I started to speed up, making as little noise as possible as I knew I was catching up to him, I heard his rapid breathing as he begun to slow down, certain that they had lost his trail. When he stopped I stopped, I crept around staying silent as he muttered to himself. I could smell fear and blood, lots of blood and I knew it wasn’t his. I could sense that he turned around and was now facing me.
“What the!?” he growled.
A snarl ripped out of my throat when I heard the gun click, I leapt on him and smashed my body into his arm, hoping it was the one he held the gun in.
I got him! I got him! Come quick…!
I know it's random choice so if I don't get him then it's bad luck for me. xD
