The first result of my 100 Themes Challenge - the theme was death, and instead of doing a traditional scary sort of creature, instead I did one inspired by a death's head moth, as well as a couple other moth species thrown in.

Aglæca is an Old English name that means many things,
including "monster, demon and fiend".

Aglæca is genderless, and prefers to be referred to as
ze, zim, etc., or using male pronouns.

age
Ze is roughly fourteen years old by human standard.

birthday
Ze doesn't see it as a birthday, but rather a death day.
Zis happens to fall on November first at 11:59 PM,
right in the middle of the day of the dead celebration.

Zis zodiac sign is Scorpio.

Aglæca is extremely allergic to mothballs. The four white
beads worn around zis neck serve as a bit of a reminder
since ze also suffers from short-term memory loss. No one
knows exactly what the beads are truly made of, as it
seems to be a natural material but cannot be found
anywhere. These beads are actually the origin of his incense
-like scent.

No one is entirely sure why ze is allergic to mothballs, or
why ze seems to have been born with short-term memory
loss, though many believe it to be zis strange gene
combination. Part moth, part bear, ze is quite small and
soft. zis smooth, short fur helps to keep zim warm during
the coldest times of the year, meaning ze doesn't have to
migrate south. Ze is about the size of a house cat, leaving
zim just right to cuddle with. In fact, he loves to cuddle.
One the coldest of days ze will curl up on your lap and take
a nap, acting much like any normal cat despite not having
any genetic relation to them.
