Why I chose that name:
Hmm,where to start.when I saw her i thought she had feathers on her not palm leafs I was planning to change it but this name just suits her

Her favorite summer memory:
Feathers favorite summer memory is of her 2nd birthday party.they held
A pastel and palm leaf themed party at sunset.she played and had fun with her friends.they all got fun pastel colored palm leafs to play with and make things out of.that is where she got the palm leafs she wears from.
And it is also why she has a love of the sunset.

Favorite summer memory (limit 500 words): A breeze drifted lazily by, barely making the leaves on the trees quiver. Dacia yawned, feeling strangely lethargic like everything else on this warm summer day. Even the air seemed to hang in the air as if it was resting, making the atmosphere fell like syrup. Dacia sighed and heaved herself to her feet, sniffing the air for no real reason.

She was about to step off of her porch to go into the shade of an oak tree when splat! Something wet and cold whupped her in the back of the head. She turned, her face twisted into a scowl, only to see it was her friends, Darwin and Delanie. (Completely made up) They smiled at her devilishly, then Darwin winded up his arm to throw another water balloon. Dacia laughed, then tackled Darwin, making the water balloon ricochet off her face and splash against his chest.

"Hey!" He growled playfully, as Delanie threw another one at him. "Why are the girls ganging up on me?" Delanie and Dacia exchanged mischievous glances, and pounced on him and doused him repeatedly with wave after wave of balloons. Finally they ran out, and Darwin jumped to his feet, sputtering and soaking wet. "Oops." Dacia said innocently. "Looks like you got a little wet." Delanie teased, struggling to keep a straight face. Darwin just grinned and pushed them both to the ground, where they rolled around in the dirt laughing. Their laughter soon subsided though, as they watched the sun sink into the mountains, coloring the sky with a beautiful, creamy orange. As the last sliver of light slipped out of the dark sky, Dacia turned to Darwin and burst out laughing. "You look like a walking cotton ball!" She giggled, and it was true. Darwin's fur had dried so it all stuck straight out, giving him the appearance of a puff ball. He looked in a puddle and burst out laughing, and Delanie had to join in too. They laughed until their ribs got sore, laughed themselves to sleep. In the morning, they were all curled up together, they're snores in sync.
