Personality (In-Depth Version):
Kegan is still as quiet as ever, he takes his time and stays with his plants most of his day, making him seem a little reclusive, but he's dropped his childish way of being protective and antisocial and has started to be a little more open. He still is a little protective of his plants, but he sees that people won't usually destroy them.
He's seen more as shy at this point, but still is a little quiet around most others, he gets very flustered too around people blushing a lot as he is pretty insecure at times as well. He's like this since he knows that what he loves is seen as a girly thing most of the time, so he tends to be a little quiet about it.
Kegan is known to be quite gentle and empathetic, more so than a lot of other guys, he doesn't see being 'manly' as a huge deal, so he just tends to be more open about feelings and such than most other guys.

Quirks:
Mumbles nonsense if he has nothing to say
Kegan will just ramble whatever is on his mind under his breath if he has nothing left to say, though this mumbling is usually made up of no sense it sometimes can bring good ideas to him. Sometimes these words can even just be gibberish when he's really running on empty.

He associates songs with everyone he meets
Kegan when he meets someone will almost immediately associate some song with the person, it's odd but he says it happens almost instantaneously. Whether it's based on their appearance or their voice he has a different song for everyone he crosses paths with.

Extreme protectiveness over pointless things
Kegan doesn't like anyone touching his things, especially if it's something that he keeps close to him. He will get upset if you mess things up that he worked on too, this can make him seem a bit snippy with people since it occurs quite often.

Horticulture:
Kegan has a love for plants, almost and and all
sorts of plants. He does dislike weeds and ones
that are poisonous, he will rid his gardens of
those plants and keep his favorites safe from
them. He tries to keep his plants as healthy
as possible, so Kegan spends lots of time with
them, talking to them, and figuring out what
sort of things will make them grow stronger.

Bird-Keeping:
Kegan also has an interest in birds, mostly song-
birds, but he can get very curious about birds of
prey at times as well. He currently had an aviary
alongside his little greenhouse where he spends
time observing and tending to his birds. He lets
them fly free, but for the more dangerous or
destructive birds he has a barn where he keeps
them safe from causing any harm to others.

Collecting Leaves:
Collecting tree and other plant leaves has always
been something he's done, even since a little bity
Bean he had his book and he would collect any sort
of leaves he thought would be interesting to add to
his extensive collection. Those leaves that he can't
fit into his book he keeps in drawers that are lined
with paper as to keep them organized and clean.

Herb Collecting
Keeping a little pouch with him at almost all times,
Kegan makes sure to collect any sort of herbs he
grows or finds outside. He likes to use them for
tea or even little herbal remedies. He doesn't call
himself an herbalist, but he does want to get more
into as he gets older. The Bean calls himself a novice
at being an herbalist, but he tries his best when he
gets the chance to.

Guilty Pleasures:

Belgian Chocolate:
Chocolate is a girly thing right? Kegan doesn't think so,
he thinks Belgian Chocolate is heavenly, he will give
almost anything to get some of the sweet gems of cocoa.

Chai Tea:
Tea isn't really much of a manly drink, but a whiff of
chai tea will perk little Kegan up almost instantly.
He almost always has chai with him.

Falconry:
An odd sort of pleasure for Kegan, to clear his mind
sometimes he takes his little peregrine falcon out.
He doesn't do it when others are around though, as
he thinks that it isn't normal and so he tries to keep it
secret.

His Plant Book
Kegan's book of plants has many many pressed flowers, leaves and other various plant parts inside of it, he keeps it with him almost all the time, if it isn't with him, it's in his greenhouse somewhere. He will occasionally let other look inside of it, but he doesn't let them take anything out of the plastic sleeves that hold his specimens.

His Hibiscus Flowers
Kegan's prized hibiscus plant is in a more secluded part of his greenhouse, he's been tending to it since he could remember, his mom showed him how to care for it and keep it healthy. It's been alive and well since then, and he keeps it as safe as he can since he takes great pride in this particular plant.

The Plant Around his Tail
He doesn't know exactly how it got there, but he knows that it's been there for as long as he can remember. It gives off little white-silver dust that seems to shimmer in the right light, and it smells like the sun to Kegan. He treasures it and doesn't usually let anyone go too close to it or even touch it.

What's in His Pouch?

Various seeds
Keeping seeds in a little leather pouch
allows Kegan to plant things quickly and
easily. He tries to keep them in some
sort of order, certain seeds one day and
others another day. But if you need some
seeds, he's definitely got some sort on
him at the moment.

A Small Pouch of Mint Leaves
Kegan likes to keep his breath smelling
nice and fresh, as well as curve his hunger
since mint is known to keep your stomach
occupied so you don't get as hungry as
quickly. So he always has fresh mint on him
to chew on when he gets hungry or just has
an unpleasant taste in his mouth.

A Bottle of Bug Spray
Always wanting to keep pesky bugs away
he has a little bottle of natural bug spray
on him. Disliking bugs especially cicadas
he makes sure to spray himself before
leaving. Of course he doesn't repel bees
or butterflies, those help his plants afterall.

Small Notebook
When he's out and about he doesn't always
have his prized plant book with him, so he
keeps a little notebook with him to collect
information, write things down and to keep
leaves and flowers temporarily. You'll almost
always see some sort of plant sticking out
from between the pages.
