Pup Name: Most people call him Balou (or short: Lou), but there are also people who call him Magnus, because he's much bigger than normal poodles. (Magnus=latin, "great"). I call him Balou, though, because I think the name shouldn't show the size, but the character of each and every animal.
Gender: Male
Personality:Balou is a very big and clumsy pup. He enjoys sitting in the sun, together with his favorite toy. One thing he doesn't like is snow. No one knows why, but he has a very deep fear of it and doesn't want to go outside when it snows.
Why was he Hostile at first?: He and his mother were nearly strays,only occasionally being fed by humans, so there was a natural fear of unfamiliar humans. He managed to get past that later, he noticed the people of the shelter were actually people who cared for him and kept him safe. He was also too much in a shock because of earlier events, he just couldn't think clearly at first.
What lead him to being covered in oil and mud?: While taking a walk through the rain, he got separated from his mother (a big crowd (of humans) appeared and he couldn't see or smell her anymore) and tried to go back home. But he became lost and ended up near a factory. The people of the factory tried to catch him to send him to the shelter, but he managed to escape. While blindly running from the men, he strode through many of the oily patches surrounding the factory. He didn't notice, though, he was too scared of all the men surrounding him. Just the same thing happened again half an hour later, but it weren't humans who were after him. The cats living on the street teamed up against him and attacked him, he could barely escape their sharp claws. The mud of the street mixed with the oil in his fur and Balou lay down somewhere he felt safer, next to a street in the shadows.
That's the story about how Balou lost his mother and happened to get covered in oil and mud.
His Favorite Toy: His favorite toy is a small, stuffed teddybear gven to him by the people of the shelter. Its fur is nearly as fluffy and has just the same colour as his own. It's also the fur colour of his mother, which might be one of the reasons why he keeps it around and treasures it. While Balou is very friendly, people can get growled at if they try to take it from him.

Dislikes: Balou dislikes both factories and cats, due to earlier events. As I already said, he also dislikes snow, and rain as well. In my opinion, he connects the rain to the events when he lost his mother. And snow is just frozen rain, isn't it?
